DL Chapter 5

Y/n POV,
I sighed and looked at Shu. There he was with a bitter face looks like he didn't like me talking to other guy. I turned my head and looked at b/n.
“Let's do it bud.” I said to her in mind. I hook her on the launcher and took position. Well, Jay's bey is defence type and mine is attack type. So, he got advantage. Uh, no I am not letting him win.
"First battle. Ready set." The referee said. We all started the countdown.
"3.. 2.. 1. Let it Rip!" We launched our beys.
"Hit that bey!" I said. She did but failed. He smirked.
"Hb/n (his bey name. Jay's bey.) R Sheild!" So he made a protection.
"Go and end the game b/n." I said. Both of our beys hit and mine went out of the ring. I lost.
"Ring out finish. Hb/n gets one point." He announced.
"Looks like Spin Empress is not more Spin Empress." Jay said.
"The game has just started. Don't underestimate me or b/n." I said. I grabbed my bey and hook it to the launcher.
"Second battle. Ready set."
"3.. 2.. 1. Let it Rip!" We launched our beys. We gotta win this match!
"B/n double strike!" I said and after a second hb/n was bursted.
"Burst finish. B/n and Y/n won this match with 2-1."

"You did good today." Red Eye said. I nodded.
"I know." I whispered.
"Do you remember what is the day today?" He asked.
"Saturday. Why?" I said. He sighed.
"You forgot? Remember today is something special." He said.
"No, I don't remember." I said. What the heck is he talking about.
"Leave it." He said and continued. "Anyway, today ask me whatever you want. I won't say no. Neither I will hit you." He said. I thought for a while and Thought that this will be a good idea.
"Then do one thing. Be my old Shu Kurenai for one day." I said. I was expecting him to say no.
"Alright then, I am Shu for today." He said and took off this mask. I look in his eyes but this time it was the old warm crimson eyes. A warm smile on his face. I know I will not get him for forever but I can have him for today.
"I am coming in one minute." He said and then went to the bathroom. I took b/n out and then whispered.
"Shu's back for today."
‘Then go and spent time with him. Clean me up later on.’ I nodded and kept her in my pocket.
"I am back sweetheart." My heart skipped a beat when he called me sweetheart. It has been a while since he called me that. I turned around and saw him. I felt butterflies in my stomach. He was wearing his old outfit.



"So what you want to do now?" He asked. I smiled happily.
"Let's go to the near by lake and spent time." I suggested.
"Good idea."

Red Eye/Shu Kurenai's POV,
I smiled a bit and then took his hand. We walked outside the temple. So, she still loves the Shu in me? I kinda miss this. Ever since I became Red Eye, we didn't hangout or went to a date. Like we even don't look or talk to each other properly. I went for training in the morning and then come back at night. No chance of talking.
"Y/n, do you remember what is today now?" I asked softly. Hoping that she will remember.
"No, I am sorry snowflake." I gasped.
"What happened Shu?" She asked.
"Nothing." I said. She called me snowflake after ages. Like she called me that when I was Shu. Nowadays, she only calls me Red Eye or sometimes Shu by mistake for which I hit her. I kinda feel guilty for that. But I can't fight with that evil in me. It loves Y/n too.
"We are here Y/n." I said and then we sat on the ground.
"Do you remember how you used to spent time in the lake of our city?" She asked as we both giggled.
"I do." I said and then remembered one of the flashback of our sweet times.
"Do you remember Mrs. Ko and her dog?" I asked.
"No. But I guess it will be embarrassing. So, better don't tell me." She warned.
"But I am doing that." I said and laughed as I remember that incident.

"Are you sure you wanna do that Y/n?" I asked as she flashed me a smile.
"Yeah, pretty much. I will go, do the task and come back." She said confidentially.
"What if someone catches you?" I asked. She gulped but then answered.
"Be positive Shu!"
"Bla bla. Now go." I said. She went in and pluck a rose from Mrs. Ko's garden but when she turned back she saw her dog Bronno. Damn, she screwed up. She nervously laughed. I closed my eyes and heard small yelling. After a while the yelling stopped and I opened my eyes. I saw Y/n standing there with purple patch beneath her left eye. Two big balls on her head and a stain of blood near her lips. She is looking like an anime character who just got beaten.
"Y-You okay?" I asked. She smiled a bit and gave me that flower which only had 1 patel left. A drop of sweat was behind my head as I smiled awkwardly.
"Mission accomplished." She said and fall back, she fainted. I sighed.

"Hey! But I was 5 at that time!" She said.
"You were 10 Y/n. Anyway, have you remembered what is today?" I asked.
"No." She said. I smiled sadly.
"It was our 1 year anniversary."

"Looks like the medicine over did it."
