But they didn't see the smile.
"...Yoongi? Yoongi? Yoongi are you paying attention?" The said person snapped his head up when the voice resonated in his ears; a little too loud.
He squinted his eyes, as he opened them. Finding his friends' face hovering right over his. He hadn't noticed when he had fallen asleep. Mumbling something that was incoherent even to himself, he pushed his body off of where ever he had been leaning. Taking a glanced to his side he realized he fallen asleep while leaning against Hoseok. The younger grinning at him.
''M sorry, I was feeling tired and-"
"It is okay." Jin assured, stepping away, and pulling Taehyund and Jungkook along with him.
"Yoongi, you are in a dire need to rest. And the sooner you realize it, the better it is for you." Jin sighed.
"I am fine." Yoongi tried to convince, but the tiredness in his voice. The gruff, and lisped words only contradicted his statement.
"Why haven't you been sleeping, Yoongi?" Hoseok frowned. He knew his friend tended to overwork himself a lot more times that it's healthy. And he hated knowing there was no way he could help.
"I uh just have been busy..." Yoongi mumbled.
"Do not tell it's because of that darned project of yours." Jin grumbled.
Yoongi's gaze immediately harden. His clenched his jaw, and curled his hand up in a fist. "Do not bring it into this conversation. You-"
"It's not because of that." Namjoon interrupted. He knew Yoongi might just end up saying something he doesn't want, because of his sleep laced mind, and regret about it later. And no one knew how long it would be, before all six of them had the chance to spend time together like this.
"Then?" Taehyung asked with confusion. His eyes nervously shifting between Jin and Yoongi who were still glaring daggers at each other. He couldn't blame either. Jin was always concerned over the conditions of his friends. And he knew the eldest won't hesitate twice before doing whatever was needed. And so the way it was kind of understandable the way reacted. But at the same, he couldn't really say anything to Yoongi either. For all the years that he had known him, there was always a certain kind of melancholy attached to the moon-born. It was ever present like a shadow; clinging onto him.
And so when a being out of everyone's reach, became the only reason that melancholy seemed to have lifted off, even by a little, none of them had the heart to confront him about the recklessness of his desires. And as for the project he had been working on for months, it was the only way Yoongi wouldn't fall down an endless pit of self destructive behavior.
