Red Flavor《Seulrene》

CHAPTER 7

Irene carefully led Seulgi along the halls until they arrived infront of the girl's apartment. It was not much, until you enter ofcourse. Seulgi's eyes shone upon seeing how spacious Irene's "Apartment" was.

"I thought you live in an apartment?" Seulgi asked, still in awe.

Seulgi's question made Irene tilt her head while she slowly puts their snacks down by the black coffee table. "This is an apartment."

Seulgi stared back at the confused yet adorable looking Joohyun. "Honey, this is a penthouse. You literally have a glass window for a wall, and it's overlooking the city."

Irene only shrugged and grabbed Seulgi's hand to lead her to her room. "This is an apartment Seulgi. C'mon let's check on the others, I bet they're gonna gonna freak out when they see you."

The pair made their way to the stairs and barged in Irene's room, only to find Yerim sitting over Wendy's stomach while repeatedly hitting the  other girl with a pillow. "HECK YEAH!! MIDGET FIGHT!!" Joy shouted while commentating the fight between the two small girls.

Irene only stood by her door emotionless, until Seulgi peeks in the room. Seeing her bestfriend on the loosing end, Seulgi can't help but cheer for her buddy. "C'MON WAN!! RIP HER TO SHREDS!! I TAUGHT YOU BETTER THAN THAT!"

Irene stood in shock while watching Seulgi, the responsible, reliable, and brave top student cheer on a fight like she's betting money on it. But, she still can't help getting lured over the girl's charm. Since it's kind of rare to see Seulgi acting her age and laughing, Irene thought of an Idea. "Are you saying that my kid here, will loose to your buddy?" She said, approaching Seulgi.

"Well yeah, I taught Wannie some of my moves y'know. She's probably scared that she might hurt Yerim though." She replied while slightly scrunching her brows.

Irene chuckled and sat beside Seulgi. "You wanna bet on it?" She asks while smirking.

"Oh, you're on Bae!" Seulgi replied, smirking back. "So, what would be the stakes?"

Irene quickly thinks while furrowing her brows. "If I win, you have to teach me the moves you taught Wendy. I could really use some self defense after that Bogum incident"

Seulgi cringes at the man's name but a chuckle slowly escapes from her mouth because of the girl's reply. Irene's wish was so easy to fulfill. If it were her, she would definetly ask for something that would be harder to fulfill. "Something that's harder to do....I got it!!"  Seulgi slowly turns to the other girl who was too engrossed with the fight. Seeing that the other girl probably didn't notice her, she gave the latter's shoulder a little tap.

Irene flinched a bit, but she slowly turns back to Seulgi. "What is it?"

Seulgi fidgets with her hand for a bit before speaking "If I win, You're going on a date with me."

Seulgi slowly looks up, meeting the gaze of a very red Irene. "Shit,  did I make her mad?? WAIT- I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF SHE SWINGS THAT  WAY!! SEULGI YOU'RE STUPID!" She silently scolds herself. She frantically waves her hand Infront of the girl. "Oh- I mean like, a friend date!! Y'know to get to know you since we've only known eachother for a day!! I- you could ask Yerim if she's up for it too! But uh, only if you're comfortable of course! I don't want to make you uncomf-"

Seulgi was cut off by the latter's chuckle "Don't worry Seulgi, you didn't make me unfomfortable. But I think Yerim will be up for the f-friend date too! She's kind of fond of you, y'know." Seulgi sighs out of relief after she hears Irene's reply.

Seeing Seulgi calm down, Irene slowly brings her hand up only for Seulgi stare at her hand in confusion. Irene giggles and slowly takes the latter's hand on her own. "Let's shake on it dummy, to seal the deal." The pair shake hands and went back to watching Wendy and Yeri wrestle.
