Today, joohyun woke up early. Well, too early in Yeri's opinion. "Rene, our class will start at 7:30 and the uni is like, 15 mins away. Why do you have to wake me up at 5am?" Yeri groaned and buried herself deeper into her blanket.
"Get up Yeri!! come on aren't you excited for a fresh start?" Irene said, peeling Yeri's blanket off. The cold air touched Yeri's skin and made her jolt into life.
"I am excited for a fresh start Rene. But please let me sleep more or my fresh start wouldn't be too fresh." Yeri snatched her blanket from Irene's hands and quickly covered herself again.
"I think you should rest more too." Yeri's muffled voice said from under the blanket.
"Nope. I need to cook breakfast. I'll give you another hour of sleep so I can get ready first." Irene muttered, slowly getting off her bestfriend's bed.
"Thanks mom." Yeri's statement gained a small chuckle from Irene.
"I do feel more like a mom than a bestfriend to you sometimes." Irene said, leaving Yeri's room.
While Yeri was asleep, Irene did everything that she's supposed to. She was already wearing her uniform by the time Yeri, who was still wearing her pajamas, joined her for breakfast. They were eating quietly until Yeri spoke. "Hey Rene, have you heard of the rumor from our former school?"
Irene swallowed her toast first before answering. "No? Why? What is it about?" Irene bit into another toast.
"Hanbin went missing after the day we encountered him." Yeri uttered while shoving a spoonful of rice in her mouth.
"Maybe he finally noticed that he was a jerk and he got ashamed of it so he ran away." Irene stated while looking at Yeri. The two stared at each other for a good while until they both blurted a "nah" in unision.
The two shared more opinions on why could Hanbin be missing, that almost made them forget about the time. "Oops its 6:27am. Leave the dishes Rene I'm gonna wash them later, I'm gonna get ready now." Yeri rapidly stood up and ran to the bathroom while still chewing a toast.

"Quick Yeri!! It's 7:25 we're gonna be late!!" Irene's a
sweaty brows were meeting each other because Yeri almost ruined their fresh start by falling asleep while taking a bath.
"See this is why I wanted to wake you up early!" Irene said, panting.
"All right, All right! It's my fault! But can we please find our homeroom teacher so we can finally start our fresh start?" Yerim breathlessly said.
Irene said nothing and pulled Yeri towards the Faculty room. She knocked softly and slowly poked her head inside the room when she heared a little "come in".
"Excuse me, we're looking for Mr. Park?" Irene quietly uttered while looking a bit nervous.
A big man who was about 40 years old walked near her and Yeri while showing them a warm smile. "That's me! I'm Mr. Jinyoung Park. You must be the transferees, Please follow me. "
Mr. Park led Yeri and Irene in their respective classroom. When Mr. Park opened the door, Chaos has revealed itself. Mr. Park only sighed and turned to them. "Don't worry, these kids are kind, they're just a bit noisy." He said with a smile.
"All right everyone, please settle down." Mr. Park said in a loud voice. Nobody really listened to him.
"Bambam please stop dancing on JB's lap." Mr. Park massaged his temples.
"Jackson and Lucas please get down from the table. Ms. Minatozaki please stop trying to kiss Ms. Kim." Stress was visible from the teachers face.
"Please stop hitting each other, Jeongyeon and Jimin." The teacher was getting really tired until he got an Idea.
"Very well. You all look like you don't want to meet your new gorgeous classmates." This statement worked like magic. The class finally settled down."That's right! You have new classmates. Please introduce yourselves." He gestured Irene and Yeri to start introducing themselves.
"Goodmorning everyone. My name is Kim Yerim, But you can call me Yeri. Let's get along!" Yeri said with enthusiasm. The entire classroom found this adorable and was filled with "aww". It was a cute interaction until Nayeon screamed her lungs out.
"JEONGYEON LET'S ADOPT HER AS OUR CHILD PLEASE." Nayeon said while shaking Jeongyeon who was too focused on thinking of pranking Jimin.
Irene chuckled and stepped forward."My name Is Bae Irene, You can call me Irene. Please take care of us!" Irene said cheerfully. After Irene Introduced herself, the whole class was filled with tje words "Cute!" And "pretty!"
"Okay that's enough! Ms. Yeri and Ms. Irene, please sit behind Joy and Wendy. WenJoy please raise your hands. I'll be taking your attendance today since Seulgi isn't here." Mr. Park said, taking the class logbook.
"hey there Irene and Yeri!" The small blonde greeted them.
"Hi! Wendy!" Yeri greeted back.
"If the both of you need something please tell me. Oh! And since both of you are new, you can always join Joy and I for lunch." Wendy assured them.
"That's very kind of you Wendy, Thank you." Irene replied with a smile.
With a long day still ahead of her, Irene cannot help but think to herself. "This is it! Finally! New friends, new life, new environment, this is what I've always wanted. I sure wish that nobody's gonna ruin this now. "
