Irene and Seulgi walked hand in hand towards the cafeteria. Yerim had to let go of Seulgi's hand because she said she needs to pee. Lmao she doesn't . She only did that because she saw how her bestfriend's eyes shined upon being close to Seulgi. Yerim knows what's up. And she has to tell Wendy and Joy later on.
"Seulgi! Irene! Here!" Joy shouted while waving her arms around.
"Shhh! Joy wtf! Stop being embarassing!!" Seungwan hissed.
"Stop being ugly Wendy." Joy snapped back.
"Alright, you two are now embarassing Irene and I." Seulgi said while gesturing Irene to sit beside her.
The two stared at her for a while and at diverted their looks to Irene ans Seulgi's Joint hands.
"Damn kang, making a move already?" Wendy said while moving her eyebrows up and down.
"Wha- NO! What the fuck Seungwan!" Seulgi said while trying to hide her blush.
"Seungwan? Who's Seungwan?" Irene asked, while slightly tilting her head, making herself look like a wondering puppy.
"Cute. I uh- I mean Seungwan is Wendy's birth name." Seulgi stuttered.
"What did you say? I didn't hear the first word." Irene said while looking at Seulgi intently. Joy and Wendy on the otherhand, only gave each other knowing looks.
Seulgi managed to change the topic before Wendy and Joy decides to further destroy the relationship that she and Irene doesn't have. Yet. *wink wink*
"Yeah Yerim is taking too long so I'm gonna go order food for everyone while we're waiting." Wendy stood up and went to order food.
"Oh, I just noticed. Seulgi you colored your hair!! Light brown really looks good on you." Joy uttered while fixing Seulgi's baby hair.
"You mean this is not Seulgi's natural hair color?" Irene asked with the head tilt again.
"No. Seulgi's hair was originally jet black." Joy replied.
"Jet black huh." Irene's thoughts suddenly drifted back to the woman who saved her from Bogum.
"HEYYY GUYS SORRY I TOOK TOO LONG THE LINE IN THE BATHROOM WAS TOO LONG!!" Yeri said, panting.
"Na-uh I don't think the line was long, you just took a huge dump Yeri." Joy teased.
"I did NOT!" Yeri snapped.
"Aight, okay what ever you say Miss Katy." Joy said sarcastically while putting her hands up, surrendering.
"By the way, do you all wanna go to the new café by the bus stop?" Wendy said while distributing food.
"Oh you mean the CandyPop café?" Yeri asked.
"Yeah! you saw it too?" Joy said in a not so clear way, whilst stuffing her mouth with melon bread.
"Yeah Yeri and I live nearby." Irene replied.
"OH THEN CAN WE HAVE A SLEEP OVER!?" Wendy asked with sparkling eyes while Yeri and looked at Irene with pleading puppy eyes.
Irene held her breath for a while before she spoke "ugh, Fine ya'll got me." She sighed, but smiled afterwards.
"YAYY!" The three cheered. Seulgi, on the otherhand was too quiet and spaced out. Irene noticed this so she gave her a little nudge.
"Hey are you okay?' Irene asked.
"A-ah, yes. Sorry I'm a bit tired and I haven't slept well." Seulgi said with a small smile.
"Hey Seulgi! Are you coming with us? you've been really quiet." Wendy asked worriedly.
Irene noticed that Seulgi's smile dropped and she suddenly looked so serious. "Nah. I can't today guys I have something to attend to later on and after that I have to work." Seulgi said with a small apologetic smile.
"But Seulgiii! you're always busy. You never join us, can't you take a break please?" Joy said while pouting.
Seulgi's smile dropped again. She looked sad more than serious this time. "Nope. Sorry Joy I'll join you next time I promise." Seulgi said. "I need to go to the bathroom." Seulgi said and left.
"Joy, I think you scared Seulgi with your ugly pout." Yeri teased.
"No Yeri, I think You scared her with your ugly face." Joy rebutted.
"Yeah, I think it's your pout Sooyoung." Wendt joined.
The three were bickering whithout noticing Irene who was watching Seulgi leave. Seulgi first has this pained expression on her face. But when she looked back at them her expression was unexplainable. It made Irene shudder.
"It's like when Animé characters are boutta go sicko mode." Irene thought to herself.
"Hey Rene! It's time to go back to the classroom. Quit staring ay Seulgi." Yeri said while smirking.
"I wasn't staring." Irene deadpanned.
"You were honey. I can tell that It's love at first sight because that's how Wendy looks at me." Joy said whild flipping her hair.
"Bitch, I look at you like you're dead fish." Wendy growled, You could clearly see the disgust in her face.
"Stop lying babe, I know you love me." Joy winked at Wendy while putting her arm around the shorter girl.
While the two are bickering, Irene's mind drifted into the twisted expresaion Seulgi was wearing on her face earlier. She would surely be thinking about it the whole day.
