Jungwoo followed her to wherever she was going with question.
He constantly peppered Aera with questions, hoping to get any clue of their destination.
Man, he was hungry too.
Aera didn't answer, mostly because she was trying to answer that same question she was asking herself in her head.
Curse herself for turning around.
Suddenly, a bell rung in her head.
She made a sharp turn to the left and started climbing a ladder, further confusing Jungwoo.
Nevertheless, he continued to wordlessly follow her, further showing his lost-puppy like personality.
Anyways, after climbing up the ladder, he found himself 60 feet above ground.
He screamed.
"What the hell? I know you don't like me much, but isn't this going too far? I-" he said all this without stopping, panicking at the sight of Aera approaching him.
Fearing that she'd push him off the roof, he quickly backed away, not realising he was about to fall down the side of the roof of his own accord.
Aera immediately rushed forward and jerked him towards her, in the process accidentally causing him to crash into her.
She stumbled backwards, tumbling backwards.
They fell to the ground, both bodies hitting the ground side by side with a loud thud.
A collective groan filled the air as they struggled to get up.
Aera succeeded first, while Jungwoo just sat up, groaning in pain.
Thanks to Aera, that was his second injury.
Well, thanks indeed.
If it wasn't for Aera, that would have been his last injury - death.
She dusted off her clothes before glancing at Jungwoo, who was dazedly looking around, almost as if he was in disbelief that he was still living and breathing.
"Thank you, I-"
Scowling at him, she muttered, "How dare you try to kill yourself. Only i am allowed to kill you."
The male was struck by her words for a brief moment but he answered, "Umm... thanks anyways? But about the killing me part, could you maybe-?"
"Not a chance."
---❖---
"Where did he go? No way someone takes that long to pee" Aera muttered to herself, sitting on the roof as she stared out at the sky.
The boy had excused himself to go to the toilet, but it had been 15 minutes since.
"Why do you even bother, Min Aera. He means nothing to you. " she voiced aloud.
Well at least, that was what she was trying to believe.
It was absolutely ridiculous, honestly.
She usually took years to open up to somebody, but it seemed like Jungwoo had gotten her to open up so much within minutes of knowing her.
She somehow felt a slight connection to Jungwoo.
It was like a thin, nearly invisible string was connected the two together, but Aera had a strange feeling that the string was going to grow thicker instead of breaking.
And she was terrified.
