Meredith's pov

I woke up today in the arms of the love of my life. I really liked waking up like this. Derek woke up and kissed me in my neck and on my lips. "Good morning." He said. "Good morning. We should go out off bed and take the kids and make them ready for day care so that we can go prep for our surgery together." I said. "I'm really happy about our surgery." He said. "Me too." We went out off bed and went to have breakfast with our kids. Me and Derek put the kids in the car and Derek started driving to the hospitals. 

Derek's pov

While we were driving Zola looked outside and pointed at something Meredith and I looked and saw a tiger when we stopped at a traffic light. Meredith took a picture and then called the animal ambulance they came and then we left off to the hospital. When we came there we dropped the kids off and went to change in our scrubs. 

Meredith's pov

In the mean time it was 2 pm and Derek told a intern to prep the patient Derek and I were going to have surgery on. I went to the chart and looked over it one more time and then I went to the OR to scrub in. I saw derek already in the scrub room. "I'm excited for our surgery." He said en I said me too. We went in to the OR and put our gloves on and started tthe surgery. "It's a beatiful day to save lives." Derek said. Ik liked it when he said that and then I knew he was ready to begin.

Derek's pov

 Meredith had one bleeder while the surgery but I helped her and she fixed it pretty fast. I was proud of her. The surgery was succesful. Meredith went to bring the good news to the patients girlfriend and I went to sit at the station to finish the chart. Then I saw a face coming in the hospital he didn't see me but I didn't excactly know who he was I knew I knew him but I just coudn't figure it out. Then I saw Meredith walking to me but before she could reach me the guy said hey to Meredith and she walked over to him. "Hey Meredith. It's been a long time since I've seen you." The guy said. "Hey" Meredith siad really akwardly to him. Then I realised who the man was. It was Finn the veterinarian who wanted to be with Meredith but she didn't want to be with him. And I liked that. But I didn't like him showing here up.
