Calum's POV

Luke. Hemmings. Talked. To. Me.

I would've never expect to say that in my life. And Harry told me he is gay. This couldn't get any better. Harry told me about his plan to help us exchange notes. I didn't agree with the idea at first, but eventually Harry talked me into it.

During free period we walked around, talked, and just laughed. I've never been happier. We the bell rung Harry handed me and note, smiling. I automatically assumed it was from Luke. I was full of excitement. I noticed Luke walking towards me and I shove the note in my pocket.

"Ready to go to class?" He asked.

I smiled and nodded. I dropped him off at his class quickly walked to mine. As soon as I took my seat I opened the note and read it.

I don't know who you are, nobody will explain this to me, but I trust Harry. You seem like a kind person, but honestly I would like to know a little bit more about you. More specifically, what gender, how old are you, maybe even your name? I would explain a bit about me, but I'm assuming you already know since your the one who left me the note. You do seem quite lovely though.

-Luke xx

I smiled at that. He is literally the sweetest person. I planned to write back tomorrow, I had to focus in class. It was extremely hard to focus throughout the day, but I made it to my last class, which was the best one since me and Luke shared it. I walked into History and sat next to Luke. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Two minutes later Ms. Greene walked in.

"I'm going to get right to the point today, I don't feel like teaching so you will be choosing a partner and working on some type of history project on any subject you want, enjoy." Ms. Greene explained and she got on her computer, probably to get on Facebook.

I immediately looked towards Luke, who had five girls surrounding him, wanting him to be their partner. I got sad and looked around for Louis, who also shared this class with us. As I got up to look for him, Luke grabbed my hand and mouthed "Sorry."

I just turned around and looked for Louis. Luckily he didn't have a partner and agreed to be mine.

"Why didn't you and Luke become partners?" Louis questioned.

"He choose some girl over me, it's okay though, I should be used to it." I answered with tears in my eyes.

"Don't cry Calum, he probably has a reason behind it." Louis said sadly.

I just nodded in response. We decided to start on the project. 30 minutes later Ms. Greene let us out of class early, explaining that we had to finish the project at home. I walked out of the class quickly, trying to avoid Luke.

"Calum! Wait! Please!" I heard Luke yell behind me.

I stopped and turned around. How would I explain this to him without telling him I like him?
