Saavi stepped out of her clinic saying bye to all the animals she has kept there and her assistant stared at her like she is out of her mind. Who says bye to animals that too so loudly. But, the care takers there ignored this. They were used to Saavi treating animals as human and humans as animals.
She walked just ahead and went to the advocate's office. There was one of her patient (cat) who's owners are getting married and they asked if she could be one of the witness and sign for them. As they were getting married without telling there families for some reason and she agreed for 5000 Rs. Yeah, she felt like being vet doesn't earn her that much. Besides she has 34 animals to take care of. So, she asked for money. She reached at the office.
"Baby, I am so happy! I'll never leave you"
"I love youuuu soooo much jaan!"
The about to be wedded couple were expressing there love for each other and here Saavi cringed. She hated how humans "Love" but, after marriage they become fucking crazy and every minute they fight. Instead she loves that animals just create kids but they don't go barmy like humans.
"Saavi, you came?"
"Let me see, am I standing in front of you? can you see me? Yes! I guess you can say that I came!" she rolled her eyes. The amount of happines in the girl's eyes made her sick. "Jeez! Woman, just getting married! Not saving whole animal species. Calm down" she thought looking at the dreamy eyes of couple. They are acting like hormonal teens.
"Let's go and sign. What are we waiting for?" she asked wanting to get out off here as soon as possible.
"We need to witnesses so Baby asked his friend to come we're waiting for him. Where's he? Why is he late, baby?"
"Satya, must be coming. You know him jaan! He must be coming by his cycle"
"What? Is his home 10 m from here?" Saavi asked bewildered as to why someone would use cycle. That too a grown man?
"Nah! 1.6 km." The wedding guy answered.
"Wow! So close. Why won't he walk here?" Saavi said sarcastically walking to the waiting area. But suddenly someone harshly bumped into her. She closed her eyes waiting to fall and...
SHE DID....very painfully if I may add.
With someone very heavy on top of her. She hissed feeling so much weight on her. On the other hand satya opened his eyes to a very beautiful woman. A woman who did somethings to his heart. But, he was brought back to reality by a harsh slap on his chest by Saavi who was struggling to breathe due to Satya's weight. Satya quickly got off her and offered her his hand which she royally ignored getting up by herself muttering
"Dumb Human"
Here, Satya was attracted to her even more. But, the fact that she didn't take his hand screamed rejection. He took the hint and shrugged off the attraction. He saw Ayaan his buddy coming with Neha his girlfriend. He smiled at him and gave him a bro hug. But, Ayaan took a pause looking at Satya and exclaimed
"Are you kidding me Satya? You wore the same Tee you wore yesterday?"
"No bro, I turned it inside out!" exclaimed Satya fetching his water bottle from his bag and taking exactly 3 sips of water.
"What? Why?" asked Saavi
"Saves money and water" he smirked and she rolled her eyes. Then, they all walked in. Neha and Ayaan made each other wear garlands of flower and the nuptial chain, placed rings on each other and signed the marriage paper. Then, the advocate asked for witnesses.
Satya stepped forward first and signed the papers. Then, Saavi stepped forward and looked for the pen. She didn't have one.
"Can you please give the pen? " she asked for.
"Well, that's not the only thing I can give, if you want I can give you much more" he winked trying to flirt. Saavi smirked at him.
"Do you know apart from being a vet, what I do? " she asked with a sarcastic smile.
"Huh? What? "
"I actually cut off useless, shameless and pervert human's dick! " she snarled snatching the pen from his hand and signing the papers. She slammed the papers and the pen and went out.
"Hey! Vet! Wait!" Satya tried to stop her running after her. She stopped and turned around glaring at him. He awkwardly scratched his neck.
"Umm.. Sorry, it's my third time trying flirting. I'll improve. I didn't mean it in a wrong. " he said sheepishly.
"It's okay human. You're not the first one trying that line on me. Improve yourself or you'll die single."
"Not if you date me" he winked at her but looking at her reaction. His smile fell.
"Still not good Eh? " he asked.
"Worse than before" she said walking away. She went to Neha and Ayaan. Satya followed her.
"Thank you Saavi" Neha said. SAAVI just nodded.
"How will you go back?" Ayaan asked
"I'll take a rickshaw " Saavi replied shrugging. Satya's eyes widen. Ayaan knew where it's going. He tried to distract Satya.
"Hey! Satya. Leave her let's celebrate "
"No way Ayaan. We will celebrate by eating Chicken Lollipop but She's gonna go on a vehicle that generates so many harmful substances to the environment."
"What you are gonna eat Chicken? You are gonna kill an innocent soul just to please your taste buds?! " SAAVI yelled.
"You? Talking about innocent animal but do you know how much Rickshaw's harm the environment which eventually harms the humans?"
"So Mr. Satya you want me to walk for 4 km?" Saavi said
"Why not? You'll get thinner" Satya said.
"You..! You are calling me fat? You know what you are? You are a hippopotamus! But, it's a disgrace for hippopotamus to call YOU that! You are even fatter than that"
"You! You crazy animal girl! I don't like you"
"Well, crazy environment guy, feelings are pretty mutual! "
