It was raining and for the first time Satya didn't run to check if the rain water harvesting he made was working or not. Because, today he cared for someone else. He didn't care if they were different. She was the person he wanted to be with. Regardless of there different thinking and lifestyle.
Here, Saavi didn't pay attention to all those wet puppies in her shelter. But, she kept walking towards the train. She tried hard to tell herself. This was perfect. If she married him, there would be so many conflicts. She told herself. She didn't want to live fighting with someone whole life. She needed someone who was similar to her for a peaceful life.
Satya was obviously slow because he was running and panting hard. The Railway Station was 4km from his house and he had been running from 25 minutes and he had barely covered 2 km. He was growing anxious thinking what if he doesn't stops her and she leaves. The thought was heart wrenching. It hurt him to think about it, he doesn't know what he would do if she really does go away. Thinking he ran. He ran faster.
He saw a man on cycle, he wasn't cycling but he was dragging the cycle and at the same moment the raining stopped. He hurried to that man.
"Hey! Please give me this cycle. I really need to stop someone? " he said.
"Satya? Crazy Environment guy? "
"Ass! It's nice that you bought a cycle. Now, shoo I need to stop Saavi"
"Saavi? Crazy puppy lady? God! They really became a couple. Oh! Dear lord! Save the people of earth" he muttered as he watched Satya cycling away.
Satya's eyes filled in relief as the Railway Station came in his sight. He left the cycle and ran inside Platform number 9. He looked around and saw that there was no train on the platform nor there was Saavi. Tears started to form in his eyes thinking she had left...him.
He kneeled down on the ground. He didn't care if people thought he was crazy. He held his head in his hand. Silently grieving on the loss of that one person. He had started to love to death.
But, he heard loud sobbing. He stood up and followed it and the sight made him smile wide with tears in his eyes. He didn't waste another minute and ran to her and hugged her back as tight as possible. He kept his head in the crook of her neck and cried his heart out. Once, they both were done crying. He slowly left her. She turned around and her front was facing his front. He again hugged her tight.
"You didn't go for me? " he cried sniffling and sobbing.
"No.. The train is cancelled due to water clogged on the railway tracks" she said sobbing. But, they both smiled. Even God wanted them both to be together. She pulled away for a bit. Looked in his moist eyes. She kept her forehead on his. Whispering

A WEEK LATER
"Our daughter-in-law can sing too!"
Saavi rolled her eyes. Well, there's a small reception going on here. They got married in the morning. They had a court marriage because they both weren't in for wasting money and other resources such as food and water too. But, Indian parents can never understand this. So, they organized this small function.
"Saavi, beta sing something naa"
"No. Why will saavi sing. She already has a big trouble now that she married Satya. At least these small troubles should reserved for Satya" Her mother-in-law said at which everyone laughed and nodded. He went ahead and grabbed the karaoke mic. He looked at me and smiled at which I playfully rolled my eyes
