"I don't believe you, Lexus. You are trying to break us apart again. It's impossible," she murmured.

"It's not impossible. You are in the same orphanage with her. She just really hates you that much."

Hindi na niya napigilan ang kanyang galit at sumugod sa akin para sakalin ako.

"You're trying to provoke me, so I'll turn my back to them, aren't you!?" She shouted.

"Why don't you ask Xsantal instead?" I smirked.

"You're saying this because I told you that Santi is her brother!" She howled.

"It really doesn't matter to me if Santi is her brother because she doesn't know that I'm Lexus. She knew me as Zack."

A dangerous smirk played on her lips when she heard what I said. I suddenly want to take my words back, but I know that it is impossible to do that.

"Now she knows it. She heard you very well, my dearest cousin," mapaglarong sabi niya sa akin.

"WHERE IS SHE!?"

"I thought you're not coward. Why did you suddenly become scared when I said that she heard you? Are you afraid now, my little cousin?" Sinubukan ko makawala mula sa pagkakatali sa akin ngunit mas lalo lamang 'yon humigpit. "Love really makes you weak."

Xsantal entered the room with other members of Blomst Blades and Dark Light.

"Xsantal," I uttered."You took her out of the hospital!? She's not yet healed!"

Lumitaw ang isang mapait na ngiti sa labi ni Xsantal. Naiyak siya at gusting-gusto ko punasan ang mga luhang 'yon sa kanyang mukha pero hindi ko magawa.

"Too concern? You do not need to act good, Lexus. She already knows the truth," Tia said.

"You still love me, right? You will still accept me after what you heard, right? You won't leave me, Xsantal."

"Stop manipulating her!" Yvanna interrupted.

"We can run away from all of this. We can live abroad just like what you planned. You will still have your surgery, right? Magagawa natin lahat 'yon sa oras na makatakas tayo rito!"

"Wow, you're saying that in front of us?" Pen said in disbelief and hit me again.

Umubo ako bigla at kasabay niyon ay pagbulwak ng dugo mula sa aking bunganga. Mas lalo naman napahagulgol si Xsantal. I know that she's confused with what's happening right now, but I can't lose her.

"X-xsantal please," I begged while my mouth is covered with blood. "We can finally be happy. After all the misery that we had, we deserve to be happy together. We can have our own happy ending and you will never envy anyone anymore. We can be happy together. Just stay with me, Xsantal."

"Can't you please stop sweet talking to her. You can never manipulate her anymore, Lexus. She will never love you. What you had is all a lie because you faked everything," Liana uttered. "Tingin mo ba talaga ay mamahalin ka pa niya matapos ang ginawa mong pagsisinungaling sa kanya?"

"Shut up! You know nothing about us! We found each other when we are both consumed by vengeance! We only have each other! Maybe you only care for her because you can use her against me!"

"Are you crazy? Aren't you the first one who planned to use her against us and faked your identity then fall for your own trap? You are stupid! We have originality, Lexus. Hindi kami gaya-gaya tulad mo, 'no!" Pen shouted. "Stop messing with our lives! Hanggang saan aabot 'yang paghihiganti mo!? You are selfish! Xsantal doesn't deserve you!"

I gave her a glare and she did the same too. This woman is crazy. They are all crazy.

"Lexus," I am glad that Xsantal finally speak.

"Have you decided that you'll run away with me, now?"

"Haven't you thought that maybe the fate has no happy ending for us? Why do we keep struggling when we try to become happy? Why do always need to have the same cycle? Napapagod na ako balik-balikan ang ganoong sitwasyon," nanghihina na sabi niya sa akin. "Ni hindi ko nga alam kung totoo ba ang lahat ng pinakita mo sa akin."

"It's real, Xsantal."

The Blomst Blades keeps rolling their eyes because of our kind of cheesy conversation, but I don't care about them. They are just a disturbance to us.

"I'm glad that I met you, Zack or Lexus rather. I experienced the love that I thought that I will never ever experience again. I do not know what the truth is, but the only truth that I truly know is that I loved you even though you lied and kill my loved ones, but because of you, I was alone at a young age, Lexus. If you didn't plan to ambush my brother, then maybe I wouldn't be here like this. I should be living happily as Sabrina Mendez with my family and not as Xsantal Kaneshon who murder and envy people. Ikaw ang puno't dulo ng pagdurusa ko, Lexus," aniya habang pinipigilan ang sarili niya sa pag-iyak.

"Xsantal..."

"I really don't know what to do anymore. Basta ang alam ko lang ay hindi ako dapat pa sumama sa 'yo. No matter how hard we try to escape from all of this, we will still be haunted by our past, Lexus," she said. "I can't stay with you, Lexus."

"N-no, don't say that please. Please don't leave me," I begged, and this is the first time that I beg someone.

"That's right. You do not deserve him, Xsantal. You deserve someone better than a monster like him," Haniya said in an evil tone.

I glared at her, but I noticed that the tie around me loosened. I realized that I am already free, and they didn't notice it. I used it as an advantage and attacked them one by one, but Xsantal is together with Haniya. May ibinubulong si Haniya kay Xsantal habang ginabayan niya ito na itutok ang baril sa akin. Dahan-dahan naman ako lumapit sa kanila.

"Step backward, Xsantal," utos ni Haniya. "Naglalakad siya palapit sa 'yo."

"Let's go, Xsantal. Let's run away please," I pleaded.

"Remember what he did, Xsantal. He killed all of them. He is a monster. If you'll not kill him now, then he will just kill more people. Huwag kang maniwala sa kasinungalingan ng lalaking 'yan. He's trying to deceive you," Haniya whispered. "Will you choose that man over Jasmine, Emerald and your family? They are all victims of that man."

Xsantal is shaking while holding the gun because she is crying.

"I'm sorry, but I need to have justice for your victims, L-lexus," Xsantal uttered, and I just smiled sadly. "I need justice for my family, for Emerald and Jasmine."

This might be the end for me, but I do not care.

"I'm forgiving you, Xsantal. I'll let you do what you want."

Mahirap man na isipin na magagawa niya 'to sa akin ay mas gugustuhin ko na siya ang tumapos sa akin kaysa ang ibang tao.

"Shoot him now!" Sigaw ni Haniya kay Xsantal.

I still manage to take a step closer to her. I smiled in front of her even though that she would not see it and hugged her while I'm dripping with blood.

"I l-love you. It is n-not a l-lie. I-i really did," I whispered to her ear while hugging her tightly.

Her tears fell. She released the gun from her hands and hugged me back. I smiled. I finally closed my eyes. At least I am with the person I love the most in my last breath. This is what happy ending is for me.
