We called the backup team to clear the mess.
The backup team arrived, they are transporting the victims to the morgue, and we have to identify the bodies and report them to their families. There are already a lot of missing reports in the station.
I kept looking on the grounds of the forest if I could get anything at all.
It's all dark and I can't see anything at all.
* I turned on the flashlight in my phone and started looking around the place*
As I went a little far away from the crime scene, something shined on the ground due to the reflection from my flash.
I went to look at it and took a branch from nearby to check what it was.
It was a pendant.

I put on my gloves, picked it out, and carried it as evidence, thinking it was something that belonged to the criminal.
I went to the car along with Jonathan, ready to head towards the station again.
*inside the car*
" Jonathan, take a look at this once. I found it in the woods"
I handed it over to him
Jonathan: It looks like a pendant, I guess this is the first clue that we got till now.
"Yes, it is"
Jonathan: We should send it to the forensics, maybe we could get fingerprints on it.
We got to the station, all the bodies were identified and now we gotta match them with the missing reports.
It's already 4:00 am in the morning, it's going to be a lot of work...
I lost track of time while working with the reports, it's already 9:00 am.
A lot of the victims were not from wingston, we need to find where they are from, it's another task. But 12 out of 33 were from wingston.
First, we need to inform their families.
I put all the details in a file and handed it over to David(one of the cops), so that he would inform them.
Jonathan entered the room
Jonathan: Governor is calling out for an emergency meeting, he wants you there in 5 mins.
*phone rings, call from Chris*
" yea, I'll be there, let me take this call, it's Chris."
Chris: Are you coming to pick me up? I need to get ready for school
