Chapter One // Finding Out

Two Months Prior - Flashback

Liam's POV

The lads and I walked through walked through the club, the music pounding ears, sweaty bodies grinding on each other. We'd been given at least a year off by Management. So we'd gone to a club, heading to the bar Louis ordered a beer and shots and since my kidney was sorted I'd been given the all clear to drink.

"To a happy non-working year lads!" Zayn said.

"To a non-working year!" We all said in unison.

|2 Hours Later|

"Come dance with me LiLi." Slurred a drunk Harry, me being tipsy myself agreed, and here we were grinding each other on the dance floor. Haz leaned up to my ear and whispered "Let's go to yours Leeyum" I nodded, grabbing his hand yanking him out of the club to my flat.

Two Months Later - Present Time

That was two months ago and to say things between me and Harry were awkward was an understatement, we couldn't look at each other without blushing and the lads noticing the increase in tension and giving the both of us looks.

We now only had to record one last song and since we had the year off we wanted to get it over with. I was singing when I stopped abruptly my hand flying to cover my mouth the nausea feeling hitting me. Running to the bucket I threw up, I felt a pair of warm hands rub my back soothingly telling me its okay in my ear. I knew it was Niall and I could sense the other lads behind us.

"Liam, you've been sick for over month. I'm taking you to the hospital." He sighed walking away to what I suppose was his cars keys. "Come on" he said helping me up. We were walking out the door when Uncle Si stopped us.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"Uncle Si, I'm sorry but Li's been sick for over a month now, we have to get him checked." I heard Zayn say behind us. Uncle Si looked at me just as I vomited in the bucket again.

"Okay, but you can't go to the hospital -" he was cut off by the boys' roars of protest. "- LET ME FINISH." He shouted the boys shut up instantly. "As I was saying, I'll phone a private clinic, get him checked there, you go to a public hospital the media and paparazzi will be all over you. As soon as you're out I want you to phone me and tell me what's up and it has to be the honest truth alright?"

"Okay." The boys said together as I groaned. Uncle Si let us past and Niall and I walked out to the car, he opened the passenger side and helped me in, then jumped in his side.

|At The Hospital|

"Liam Payne." A young woman with gingery/brown hair and a slim figure said. I stood up with Niall and followed her into a room. "Okay Mr. Payne take a seat." I did as she asked. "Alright, I'm Dr. Kate Williams, what can I do for you today? Your boss seemed concerned." She said smiling weakly at me.

"Err I've been sick for over a month, I have headaches, I'm always tired and I've had a very bad craving for cookies." I said.

She smiled at me "Okay. Right what I'm thinking that's wrong with you is very rare, but I'm going to get it checked okay. I'm going to need you lie down in that bed there and lift up your shirt." I walked over and hopped on and lifted my shirt like she asked, she walked over to me and started setting up a machine "Okay I'm going to be doing an ultrasound." I nodded my eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "Right the gel will be cold." Dr. Williams said placing the gel on my stomach making me hiss at how cold it was. She picked up the wand and scrolled it around my abdomen I looked at Niall who was probably more confused than me. "Ah there it is." She beamed "Right Mr. Payne if you wipe the get with this and sit down." Once again I did as she instructed as she printed out some pictures. When she was done she sat back down near us. "Right Mr. Payne you have a very rare condition. You were born, not only with male parts, but with a womb too. This is connected to erm well let's just say connected to your rear end." She sighed she made Niall chuckle at the end, but soon stopped as he registered the rest of it.
