"They're sleeping..we'll check up on her later on. She has him by her side, I think she'll be fine for now."

She was given a cast for her leg, along with crutches to help her walk. She was worn out from the crying she did, which took her too long to stop.

She heard that her team won nationals, she couldn't be there to receive the medals she earned but Ayano kept them safe until she was to come back, except that she was told that she couldn't play anymore— well for a good two years.

She could workout but it would have to be minimal, the weights shouldn't be as heavy and that she can't overwork herself.

Sakusa heard her complain over how she wasn't going to be able to play anymore, that her future goals were over, that she won't be able to win again.

"Y/n, by the time two years are done, you could be recruited in a professional team, pros are already looking at you. In no time everyone's going to be wanting you on their team once you're ready."

Was what he said to her, hoping to make her feel better, except it made her cry even more. She told him that he was actually being helpful and not being the cold person he usually was.

He laid his head on the bed as he closed his eyes, feeling her fingers run through his hair, looking at her as she moved her hand away.

"Sorry.." she had said, feeling a bit embarrassed but she felt his hand grab hers, looking over to him as he had his eyes closed.

"Let's just sleep for now, okay?"

That was three hours ago. They're both now snoring, holding hands with each other as Sakusa's body was laying next to hers. While Mayumi was in between them sleeping as well.

The nurses would come in to check on her every few hours, they were in awe because they thought Sakusa was her boyfriend who was there to help her and that Mayumi was his little sister who loved Y/n more than her older brother.

Her parents came in with her teammates a bit later along with his. M/n took a few pictures as well as Azumi, Sakusa's mom. "Are you sure they're not dating..?" Hayashi, their first year middle blocker whispered as she looked at the two.

She couldn't tell if they were dating due to the fact that they were just irritating each other a few hours ago. "One hundred percent positive they aren't but I wouldn't be surprised if they did."

Y/n was moving around, Sakusa's arm wrapped around Y/n and Mayumi's body by itself, bringing them closer to him as M/n and Azumi awed, taking more pictures.

"Hurry up and take pictures Chiyo, i'm going to use this as blackmail." Ayano said as her teammates jaws dropped as they quickly took pictures making Y/n's and Sakusa's parents laugh.

"She's never going to let this go."

"Why is that?" D/n asked as the team looked over to him. "The two um sort of "hate" each other—"

"Oh that's their way of expressing how much they love each other!" Azumi said as they gave her a confused look. "What do you mean..?"

"They're actually dating! Been for since they were kids!"

"You're kidding me right..?"
