you sighed getting out of bed as your best friend, hitoka yachi gave you a reminder to get up for work.

it's not that you hated working at a cafe but you kinda hated working at a cafe. i mean, at least akaashi was there to keep you company right ?

growing up in a family of wealth, was great but you also wanted to make money for yourself instead of relying on your parents all the time.

putting your bunny slippers on and walking all the way to your bathroom to brush your teeth, you decided to plan out your day in your head.

you, yachi and shoyo all decided to have a movie night tonight to catch up and just hang out.

once you finished applying your skin care and freshening up, you headed back into your room to get dressed.

you looked at yourself in the mirror proud of the outfit you put together. just because you were going to work didn't mean you couldn't dress nicely
right ? i mean what if a cute guy showed up ? 😕💪🏼

anyways,,
you took out your phone before stepping into your car. you decided to send shoyo a message before heading off to work.

once you arrived at work you threw your apron over your shoulder and started setting everything up waiting for your partner, keiji akaashi, to show up.

you and akaashi have been working together for a few months now and you've built up a good bond with him. sometimes you'd even have your coffee breaks together if there was enough time.

as you were cleaning the counters and getting ready to open the cafe for the customers, you felt someone's hands wrap around your waist and pull you into an embrace.

you jumped a little out of shock but turned around to be met with no one other than akaashi.

"boo !" akaashi said, whisper-yelling into your ear catching you off guard by his soothing voice.
"keiji ! how many times have i told you to stop scaring me like that, next time i won't hesitate to punch that pretty little face of yours !"

"pretty huh ?" akaashi smirked, leaning in to give you another hug.
"don't let it get to your head keiji" you said slightly pushing him off of you with your index finger.

"damn okay y/n, i'll get my apron in the staff room, just open up for me so long yeah ?" he said disappearing from your sight into the staff room.

"yeah yeah okay keiji, i got it !" you said grabbing the sign and placing it on the front door to the cafe signaling that you were now open and ready to start taking orders.

sooooo what do think of the first chapter ? i have so much planned for this book but i have exams coming up in a few days so there might not be be any updates in awhile,, sorry about that !
