"You shouldn't dance like that, you got this little heart of mine in overdrive"
Sasuke was lying on his bed, looking up at the ceiling. Every so often he would look at Naruto, who was actually studying. He knew what he wanted to say, but he wasn't sure when to say it. Blurting out his suggestion would probably surprise the blond and make him wonder why Sasuke made the suggestion. But isn't that why he wanted to do it? He wanted to make Naruto think about him differently and he hoped that it would. Finally he gave in and said, "We should go to a gay bar tonight."
Just like Sasuke thought, the blond was surprised by the suggestion. "Really?" he asked, his studying suddenly pushed aside and forgotten. It wasn't every day that Sasuke suggested that they have fun and Naruto was sure that it probably wouldn't happen again any time soon. "I mean yeah, that sounds great," he smiled, not allowing any time for Sasuke to change his mind.
"Yeah," Sasuke nodded as he became uncertain about his decision. 'What did I just get myself into?' he wondered as he started thinking about what could happen that night. He wasn't sure what to expect and that was what scared him the most.
"Who else is going?" Naruto asked. "We could invite the girls, they seem to like to go," he added, trying to make conversation. "Sakura said something about being able to let their guard down because all of the guys are gay," he told him, though he was pretty sure that Sasuke didn't care.
"I don't know, whoever wants to go," Sasuke said awkwardly, wishing he had thought it through. He was just testing the waters. He didn't want to make things weird between them, which made him think that he should have thought to invite other people before talking to Naruto about it.
"Cool," the blond replied as he text someone. "I just text Sakura to see if she wants to come," he smiled. "I told her to invite the other girls if she wants. I'll be interesting to see how many lesbians hit on her. She claims they always do when she goes, though it isn't really all that often," he laughed, though Sasuke only replied with a chuckle. "I'll be fun tonight," he smiled.
'Shit,' Sasuke thought when Naruto mentioned Sakura. He remembered their shopping trip and the fact that she knew about his crush on the blond. He got a text moment later, 'I'm so coming tonight.' He frowned at Karin's text. He had his suspicions that it was Sakura that told her, considering that Naruto had just text the pink haired girl and he doubted that he'd also text Karin. The girls would probably use this opportunity to tease him the entire night. Or worse, they might try to interfere as match makers. 'Fuck,' he cursed at himself, suddenly regretting his decision.
"I'm going to go talk to Kiba, see if he wants to tag along too. I doubt he will because he thinks guys are going to hit on him. I've told him I don't know how many times that he's not that attractive that every gay man is going to hit on him," Naruto laughed. "He gets hit on by one guy at a bar and thinks every guy is going to hit on him," the blond rolled his eyes.
Sasuke just nodded, as he continued to wonder what he'd gotten himself into. It was turning into a much larger group than he had planned. He was a little annoyed that the blond was actually inviting so many people. 'Does he not want to be alone with me?' he wondered bitterly.
"I'll see you later," Naruto grinned, excited about going out that night. "This will be so fun," he reiterated as he walked out the door and headed towards Kiba's room.
Kiba was no longer surprised when Naruto decided to show up at his dorm unexpectedly. The blond didn't seem to care that Kiba might be busy. "What are you doing here?" Kiba asked as he let the other man in the room. He sat on his bed waiting for the explanation, knowing it probably had something to do with Sasuke.
