The silence was deafening as Tommy and I stood in the hallway, staring at the slouched body of Wilbur as Fundy eagerly ran towards the dead man and quickly gave him a hug. "See Mommy? Tall man is here!" He exclaimed as he turned to me, a bright smile upon his face.

"Fundy, come here." I whispered softly, as the small kitsune woefully scampered over to my side.

"Tommy... is he..."

"He can't be."

I sent a doubtful glance over to the brit before crouching down to Fundy's height. "Fundy, honey." I spoke softly before cupping his face in my hand, "I need you to go and get Tall Man's friends, okay? Once you bring them here, go to your room."

"But, Mommy-"
"Now Fundy."

Without a second thought, Fundy quickly left my side, and I looked up to Tommy, an unsettling silence falling between the two of us as we slowly approached Wilbur.

It was clear the man was gone, and that Tommy would not accept that fact as he woefully collapsed to the ground in front of the corpse. Tommy slowly brought Wilbur's body to his as he cradled the corpse in his hold in a pleading hug, soft sobs leaving the teens mouth as he sat upon the floor.

My breath caught in my throat and tears pooled in my eyes as I laid a gentle hand upon Tommy's shoulder. I brought myself down next to him, hiccups leaving my lips as tears swept down my cheeks. Without a second thought, Tommy was now clinging to me, his face in my shirt as he hid his tear stained face.

It took all my strength not to glance at the dead body of Wilbur as Tommy and I cried in each other's arms, the fast pitter patter of footsteps coming our way as Tommy let out a heartbreaking scream that molded into sobs, "Wilbur!"

My arms wrapped around the sobbing teen as the various band of misfits gathered around us, silence falling between the group, the only thing filling the silence was the gasps and sobs of Tommy as Techno and Dream slowly paced forward until they were next to the corpse of Wilbur.

"What happened?!" Practically shouted dream as he whipped his head towards me and the sobbing boy. Anger radiated off of his form as he towered over the two of us upon the floor, my heart skipping a few beats at the terrifying sight.

"Wilbur was missing and Fundy brought us here, we have no clue as to what happened." I whispered softly as my grip tightened onto Tommy, his crying never ceasing.

Techno crouched down next to me and put a hand upon my shoulder, causing me to look up at him with bleary eyes. His expression was soft and tender, "Take Tommy, Tubbo, and Purpled to a separate room, they're still kids, they don't need to see this."
With a shaky breath, I nodded solemnly before gently guiding Tommy up to his feet, his sobs had grown to silent tears that streamed down his face as Tubbo quickly ran forward and gave the brit a warm hug.

"Sapnap you go too." Practically commanded Dream as he turned away from the group, causing a yell of protest to escape from Sapnap.

"What?!" He yelled, his voice cracking, "I'm not a kid Dream! I'm nineteen, you know I'm not a kid."

"Even still," Snapped Dream as he turned to the dark haired boy, "You're young, I don't care how much devastation you've seen, you're going with them. Understood?"
"Whatever." Huffed Sapnap as he tried to walk away, causing Purpled to grab ahold of the back of his shirt, "If I have to go, you do too."

Sending a glance over my shoulder, I tenderly grabbed ahold of Tommy's hand before leading the small group up the staircase. It wasn't until we turned off to the nursery did anyone say anything.

"I still don't understand why I have to be here." Grumbled Sapnap as he crossed his arms, a frustrated groan leaving his lips as we entered the room before flopping onto a nearby loveseat.

Purpled merely rolled his eyes before sitting himself off in a corner, leaving Tommy, Tubbo, and I.

"You two, c'mere," I whispered quietly before leading them over to the plush window side seating, "Get comfy, and find something to entertain yourselves, I'll be right back."

As I turned to leave, a hand slipped into mine, causing me to stop in my tracks, looking over my shoulder I found a bleary eyed Tommy looking at me, "Don't leave me too."

Letting out a soft sigh, I nodded before sitting up against the wall, causing the teen's hand to leave mine. Silence filled the room as Tubbo fiddled with his fingers and Tommy stared off into space. The silence was nearly deafening, it wasn't until the soft pitter patter of footsteps outside the door and a baby crying did anyone look up from what they were doing. Well, excluding Sapnap who was out cold.

The door lightly swung open and then to a close as before me was Juno and Fundy, who within their grasp was a crying piglin baby. A gasp left my lips as I quickly lurched forward as I cradled the baby in my grasp, the crying ceased and the two young children gave me a proud grin.

"Mommy's baby is quiet now!" Exclaimed Fundy, Juno merely gave a wide grin as his tail happily swung back and forth.

"Boys, c'mere," I spoke softly as the two of them settled themselves next to me upon the floor, yawns leaving their mouths and soon enough, tiny snores were leaving their small forms. And without knowing it, the warm clutches of sleep slowly began to encase me as well.

It wasn't until a shrill scream resounded outside the walls did I snap back to my senses.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.
