"Be Mine." -EREMIN-

A New Friend

(This chapter takes place from when they were kids)

It was a nice, beautiful spring breeze. Eren could feel the wind brush against his cheeks. Eren asked Mikasa to go on a walk with him, Mikasa was bored so she agreed to the offer. The two kids said goodbye to their mother, and walked out the door into the fresh air.

Eren had his hands in his pockets, and they just walked around the neighborhood. Everything was fine until Eren saw a mouse. It was crawling around on the sidewalk near the sewer. Eren got close enough to snatch the mouse with his hands, and looked at it.

"Eren, put the mouse down. It could have a disease." Mikasa said. They both stopped in their tracks. Eren got a good stare at the mouse, before he snapped it's neck. Mikasa sighed. Eren giggled.

Eren was always a strange kid, he loved the sight of Blood. Sometimes, Eren and Mikasa would watch horror movies late at night. Whenever a character was screaming in pain, or being brutally murdered, Eren seem to be intrigued by it. The worst thing was, he always smiled when it happened. Sometimes it would always creep Mikasa out.

"It's fine Mikasa," Eren began to say as they continued their walk. "It's just a mouse." Mikasa looked at him. "It's not a good habit to keep on killing things. That mouse had a life to." Mikasa protested.

Eren eyed her sister. "I don't care." Mikasa looked directly at Eren. 

They kept on going on with their spring walk around the neighborhood, everything was fine until Eren spotted some bullies beating up a blonde boy on the sidewalk. They were coming towards the drama.

Eren walked by and eyed the boy who was being beat up, he was crying and scared. He was about to leave him until he saw the look in his ocean blue eyes. Eren stared directly at them. They were beautiful. Eren stopped and looked back. The bullies turned their heads and looked at Eren.

"What do you want punk!?" One yelled at him. Eren didn't like this. "Eren, come on let's go." Mikasa said to her brother, trying not to get him in trouble again. 

"Leave him alone." Eren finally said. There was a lot of tension, they kept on staring at each other. "Eren let's go-" Mikasa tried to say.

"Mind if you repeat yourself loser?" One of the bullies said. Eren could hear the blonde boy whimpering and backing up.

Eren took a step forward. "Leave. Him. Alone." Eren said. "HAHA- No way stupid! You want to get beat up to!?" The bullies laughed. One began to back up his arm and he made his hand in the shape of a fist. Mikasa saw what was coming.

Mikasa made Eren dodge the punch and pushed the bullies to the ground. Eren looked at the blonde boy and saw how beautiful he was. The bullies tried to get up and run away, but Eren kicked them all in the rib cage. One by one. He kicked them hard.

The blonde boy looked at Eren. He was so scared, yet so perfect and flawless. Eren began stomping on their heads banging them into the concrete. 

"STOP! PLEASE!" They screamed. "PLEAS-" Another kick in the face from Eren. He stomped on them until they began to bleed. Eren began to smirk. The blonde boy looked terrified.

"Eren I think that's enough." Mikasa said. She put her hand on her brothers shoulder. She saw the blood on his cheek.

"Th-hank you.." The bullies said to Mikasa. Once they got up, they began running for their dear lives.

"Come on guys let's go! Hurry!" You could hear them yelling at each other telling them to run fast. Eren giggled. Eren got his focus back on the blonde  boy.

He knelt down and looked at him. "So what's your name?" Eren asked politely. There was still a smear of blood on his cheek, the boy was terrified. He covered his head with his arms. 

"P-please don't hurt me.." He said. Eren looked at Mikasa. Mikasa looked at Eren. "I'd never hurt you." You're pretty!" Eren said with a smile. Armin peaked out his head, and looked at Eren. Armin could feel a blush forming on his cheeks. 

"T-thanks I guess.." The boy said. "And my name is Armin." Eren looked at him. He's so perfect. Now he'd wish he would've hurt the bullies even more, maybe even kill them. 

They should be ashamed. Hurting such a beautiful person? Eren got lost in his thoughts. Mikasa tapped Eren's shoulder. Eren got back into reality. "Cute name, Armin." Eren said with a smile. He helped Armin up and looked at him. Armin was very shy.

"His name is Eren. My name is Mikasa." Mikasa said behind Eren. "Thanks for saving me.." Armin said. He turned his head and looked down at the ground. "No problem," Eren said. "Want to be friends?" He asked. Armin looked up and stared into Eren's eyes. He just beat up a bunch of kids, how is he so happy and kind now? Armin was excited, actually. Nobody had ever ask him to be friends before. 

"Y-yeah, thanks!" Armin said. Eren smiled widely. He hugged his new friend at giggled.
