2 weeks after Eren and Armin played hide and seek and hid in that abandoned house,
Things haven't felt the same. Armin tried his best to avoid Eren sometimes. That's how creeped out he was 2 weeks ago. Armin couldn't tell if he was joking or not, because he did do some damage to those bullies. And he showed no mercy.
So, Armin tried to keep his distance. Whenever Mikasa or Eren would come over and try to get him to play outside, he would keep on using the same excuse. "My stomach hurts," or, "Sorry I'm not feeling well." He was just a bit nervous around Eren.
One day, Mikasa went over to Armin's house alone. Mikasa knocked on his door. Armin twisted the door knob. He saw Mikasa and was about to say something, until she said it first.
"Please Armin, please come play with us. I heard what Eren was saying to you in that house, but he just really cares about you. You are his first friend, and he's really sad you don't want to play.." Mikasa said while fidgeting with her fingers.
Armin looked at her. Armin thought for a bit besides saying something. It couldn't be that bad, Right? Armin was being a bit mean, he was Eren's first friend and all he was doing was avoiding him. Armin looked at Mikasa in the eyes. She did seem pretty desperate.
"Sure, I guess I can come play with you." Armin said with a smile. Mikasa was excited. "Thank you Armin! Eren is at the playground." She said with a grin. Armin stepped out the door and began to walk down the sidewalk to the park with Mikasa. They giggled and chuckled along the way.
Once they reached the neighborhood playground, Eren's eyes lit up with excitement and glee. Eren ran up to Armin and gave him a huge hug. Armin was about fall over.
"ARMIN!" Eren yelled giggling. Armin laughed.
After that day, the trio became very close. Eren would still sometimes act strange and a bit to overprotective. But it was fine. Eren, Armin, and Mikasa hung out every single day. Their bond became stronger, and soon, they were unbreakable. For some reason, Eren didn't like that.
He liked Eren and Mikasa playing with Armin, but he didn't like the thought of Mikasa being really close to Armin to. He wanted it just to be him and Armin forever, and forever.
Only him and his Armin.
