Atsumu pov:

Why was he like this? Why did he have to be the way he is? Atsumu was a teenage boy, second year at Inarizaki high school or however the fuck you spell it. And he was a gay in denial. (Me 2013-2018 lmao) However, he had started to accept that this is who he is. And he can't do shit about it, but to accept himself for who he is.

Atsumu wasn't sure if he should tell his family. After all, he wasn't sure about their view on being LGBTQ+, but he wasn't ready to take a risk.

So Atsumu decided to keep this to himself until he was really ready. He delt with everyone asking when he's gonna get a girlfriend, and he smiled when people talked about setting him up with a girl. But deep inside he was hurting. The thought of being with a girl sickened him. He didn't hate girls or anything, he just couldn't feel like himself around the opposite gender.

He was angry at himself, and he was angry at the world. The pain of hiding your feelings for years and years hurts. It slowly eats away at your brain, until you become an insecure mess, crying on the floor thinking you're going to be alone forever and that you'll never get to express your true feelings. Thinking that love just wasn't something you were ever meant to have. In this world, if you're not straight, you need to pretend if you don't want people to treat you like human shit.

But that's how the world is. And Atsumu didn't want to be treated differently. He just wanted to feel like himself.

Every day at practice, Atsumu would always be asked why he didn't have a girlfriend, and he would be teased for being single. But Kira knew there was a reason other than "I'm just not really looking for a relationship right now" which is what Atsumu would tell the team. Osamu also noticed something was off about his brother, but he didn't know what it was or how to ask him about it.

Atsumu was talking with a girl from his class. She knew he was gay and Atsumu knew she was Lesbian. They are both in the closet but they felt close enough to come out to eachother. We'll call the girl fuckin uhhhhh Koizumi. The first anime that comes to mind when I think lesbian is Danganronpa. Specifically Danganronpa v2. We gon call her girlfriend Hiyoko because they both gay as hell. There's no stronger force in this world than two lesbians who're sick of a mans bull shit. Tell me I'm wrong. LOOK ME IN THE MOTHER FUCKING EYES AND TELL ME IM WRONG!

One day Koizumi came crying to Atsumu telling him about something that happened to her the night before. And because I suck at diolog, have this summery I thought of while taking a shit.

Koizumi was on a call with Hiyoko, and her mom heard her call someone on the phone babe. When her mom asked her about it, she told the person on the other side of the phone she had to go. Koizumi told her mom she was talking to a boy from school, and her mom asked if it was Atsumu because they were always hanging out together. Koizumi in a panic said that was who she was talking to, and her mom asked to invite him over for dinner.

Atsumu listened and he understood what she was asking. They made a plan to pretend to be dating and they let Hiyoko know in advance in case she wouldn't be ok with it. And even though Hiyoko can be a bit sassy and full of herself, she understand her girlfriend's situation and she was fine with them pretending. She knew Atsumu didn't like girls so she was comfortable with her lover around him.

Osamu saw the girl crying into his brothers shoulder and he wondered what happened. He knew Atsumu spent a lot of time with her, bet he didn't sense any sexual tension between the two of them. Osamu didn't show it often but he cares about his brother. But if you have any siblings you would know how things go. You act like little bitches towards each other, but if something happens to the other it's just something wholesome. The age difference plays a big part in the relationship between siblings. The farther apart in age you are the more weird y'all act. You act annoying but you care for each other and they know this. At least most of the time. Some people might have a bad relationship with a sibling or a great one. But they do care. If you're an only child, oof.

Atsumu went to Koizumi's house, and they pretended to be in love. This was awkward as hell for them, but Koizumi's parents seemed to buy it and they wanted Atsumu to visit more. They thought they were dating and had an amazing relationship. But in reality they were both gay as hell.

Atsumu didn't tell his brother or his parents where he was going, and they didn't ask. So he snuck away to his friends house to pretend to be heterosexual.

After the awkward shit that happened, they both continued with their day. Atsumu was excited for today, because Itachiyama was coming for a practice match, and you know what that means my fellow sakuatsu shippers 😌.

Atsumu showed up to the gym, and like the good friend she is , Koizumi was there to spectate with her girlfriend Hiyoko. They won the game 2-1 and after the game Atsumu and Sakusa were talking. Komori was about to remind Atsumu Sakusa was germophobic when he was Atsumu grab Kiyoomis hand, but to his surprise his cousin happily held Atsumus hand. They continued talking but everyone from Itachiyama stared at the two boys. Sakusa didn't have a problem with Atsumu being so close even without either of them wearing a mask. The coach was just staring at the two, and the other Itachiyama players were grinning, gossiping, and smirking about the two boys who had no idea about what the others were doing. Koizumi grinned seeing her friend so happy with a guy.

Atsumu and Sakusa liked each other, and they both knew, but they didn't know if the other did for sure. But they always seemed to get along and they were checking each other out almost every minute. But the only people who noticed were Komori and Kita. Kita was one of the only people who didn't ask Atsumu why he didn't have a girlfriend. Before Atsumu knew he was gay he asked Kita to help him with his sexuality crisis. Kita helped him find himself, making Kita the first one to know Atsumu was gay. He was happy for Atsumu and was fucking waiting for SOMEBODY to confess. But of course he had to take matters into his own hands. Kita walked up to the two, and they looked up to see Kita.

K, " y'all obviously like each other, so just confess already."

Atsumu and Sakusa blushed and looked at each other. Neither of them was denying it.

K, "what are you so quiet for? You can't be stupid enough to not realize. Even Komori sees it and he's dumb as a rock"

No I'm sorry pls I love Komori.

The boys looked at each other kinda like 🌚 🌝.

The one on the left is Sakusa obviously. And the one on the right is Atsumu. DUH.

The two started talking about it, and ended up confessing at the same time. They hugged, and everyone watching was in shock.

Sister-struck 😌 kill me please

Everyone stared at the boys. They couldn't here the conversation but now Sakusa was hugging someone, and that was enough to make everyone's jaw drop. Koizumi was clapping and jumping up and down so happy for her friend.

A month passes and Sakusa knew about Atsumu and Koizumi's fake dating and that they were both gay and in the closet. He was fine with it after hearing Koizumi already had a girlfriend. But somehow the entire school thought Atsumu and Koizumi were dating, and out of panic they said they were. They both cried to their lovers as they were comforted by them. Kita was confused because he knew Atsumu was dating Sakusa, so Atsumu had to explain it to him.

Kita understood but he thought it was too much to hide your sexuality. People stopped asking Atsumu why he didn't have a girlfriend, but Atsumu seemed a bit off. He wasn't fighting with his brother, and he wasn't making jokes as often as he used to. The pressure of keeping up this act was weighing down on him. Koizumi was also suffering from this situation, and they would always be comforted by their lovers.

After about 5 months of hiding, Atsumu was done with it, and he cried to Koizumi. Koizumi asked him if he wanted to come out if this was hurting him so much. Atsumu agreed, because he felt like a coward, hiding his true feelings. After two weeks Sakusa came over and Atsumu told him what he wanted to do.

"I'll always support you no matter what Atsu, you mean everything to me."

Lol that sounds cheesy.

They agreed on a way to come out together, in a way they didn't have to say it out loud.
