Tony, Thor, Maria, and Rhodey were all in their own circle listening to Rhodey tell a story. Well, you know, the suit can take the weight, right? So, I take the tank, fly it right up to the General's palace, drop it at his feet, I'm like, "Boom! You looking for this?" Stark and Thor just look at him blankly then to each other. "Boom! Are you looking..."? Why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills."
Thor finally opens his mouth "That's the whole story? It's very good then" He laughs a bit "Impressive." Rhodey just gives Thor a look of 'really' and just replies back to him "Nice save. So, no Pepper? She isn't coming I guess?" he says to Tony.
Tony shrugs a bit "No, Miss Potts has a company to run." Maria turns to Thor "Where's Jane, Thor?" she questions. "Where are the ladies, gentlemen? There's too much testosterone here!" As she says that, Zariah and Nat walk in the room heading to the bar for some drinks.
Tony couldn't help but smile because he was worried, she wouldn't attend. He did parties like this to get her to come out of her room, to be around people, to try and help her. It seemed to help but he has JARVIS keep an eye on her and there are nights that he reports to Tony about her night terrors. Tony doesn't say anything because it is something she has to get by and she has Sam as well as Nat. "There's some ladies Maria and one of your favorites I might add." Maria turns to see where he was pointing and smiles "Well, see ya guys!" Maria met up with the two women at the bar as they started to have conversations.
Thor watches Zariah as he can see her smiling and laughing with the girls. Tony turns to him with a smile as he goes to watch Zariah as well "She's trying, Thor." He finally breaks the silence. Thor just simply nods "I know. But I know she is still hurting. Unfortunately, with soulmates, once we feel that pain. It doesn't go away. I do not know what I can do to help her. She's like a sister to me. My brother loved her dearly and for once in all his life he cared for someone that wasn't truly family like our mother." Thor looks at his drink in his hand sadly. Tony took in a deep breath before walking away from Thor "Well, maybe we need to remind her that she matters to us."
*Time Skip*
The party started to die down and everyone has left except the Avengers, Rhodey and Maria. They are all sitting around the main table, listening to Thor as he tells a story about one of his quests back on Asgard. Zariah is enjoying the atmosphere as she's settled next to Natasha, quietly talking to her, laughing.
After a while Clint starts talking about Thor's hammer; "But, it's a trick!" Thor just laughs "Oh, no. It's much more than that. Isn't that right Zariah?" he motions to the goddess as she gives him a look "Yes in a way, I suppose. Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall posses the power of Thor." She told the group. "And as of right now as it's been, it has been Thor."

"Whatever! It's a trick." Clint scoffs as he twirls a drumstick in his hand. Zariah couldn't help but laugh. "Unfortunately, it's not. Only those who are truly worthy can life Mjolnir." She says as she takes a sip of a drink Nat made her even though it won't do anything for her.
