Stubborn [ Kion x Azaad ]

Chapter Three- Tuliza

Kion's POV

“I'm gonna get her first!” I teased, Azaad laughed before playfully scoffing. “Hahahah! We both know Azaad will first!” He spoke proudly, We both began laughing.  “Not if I can help it!” I spoke proudly, something in me just didn't seem right talking like this with Azaad. Sure talking was fun, but about Fuli like I like her just doesn't sit right. Maybe it's because I really didn't, maybe I can ask Ono for advice. He was the wisest after all, but I don't know if I could trust him with this type of information. I held back my thoughts as to focus on keeping up with Azaad. He paused so suddenly when we reached what seemed like a deserted area, reminds me of the place Fuli described when she explained how they met. “There should be some around here. Azaad would take you to fresher Tuliza, but that is much too far." He explained, I felt my face flush. He was really willing to give me some of his? Azaad was much too kind for someone who's lived on his own constantly. What did I ever do that made me worthy of meeting him, is this what swooning feels like? This definitely feels like what Rani described when she talks about.. HOLY PRIDE ROCK-

Azaad's POV

I think I spooked Kion a little when I grabbed him. Maybe I should've warned him before I grabbed him and bolted, perhaps it was my feelings attempting to bite back at Kion. Yes that was definitely it! Also it was genuinely funny to see him panic, it was kinda of... Man I can't even think of the words for it! I dragged him to the dark set cave, my cave actually. Hasn't been lit or dusted in quite awhile, but I guess that's what happens when you leave something unattended. I scratched a stick along the floor to start a fire while Kion was still catching his thoughts, I kicked the lot stick into a rock bordered makeshift fireplace. “Should be around here.” I spoke, Kion finally getting to his feet. “Got it.” He mustered out, I couldn't quite tell if he was amazed or disgusted with the place, I didn't really keep it the cleanest. But what do I care what he thinks!—but I definitely do care so it's best to be in and out.

Nobody's POV

Azaad grabbed the Tuliza from under his nest, “Azaad doesn't know how much will suffice, take as much as you need.” He said with a smile, the nervous and flattered lion nodded. “Thanks Azaad, I really do appreciate it.” Kion's ears folded back, his tail tucked tightly to himself as he sat down taking a small amount from the pile. The cheetah walked to his side, placing himself down as well. “Intrested in me eating these much?” The red maned feline joked, in all reality he quite was though. “A little,” Azaad started with a smile. “What's it taste like?” The spotted one asked, as Kion finished up he laid down, Azaad mirroring. “To be honest, I couldn't explain it if I tried. Have you never needed to eat any?” The golden furred lion questioned back, confused on why he had so much if he hadn't had any before. “A friend of Azaad's always told him to keep some on hand, he said it would be helpful someday.” Azaad stated, “What a crazy monkey he is.” The cheetah shrugged as Kion was more focused on how close the two were. To make it worse Azaad laid his head on his shoulder, causing his tail to wag like a dog, he felt like an idiot but Azaad hadn't noticed it so he would let it be. “We should rest for a bit—” Yawned the cheetah, Kion immediately agreeing seeing as they would sleep next to one another. “Mm, goodnight then, oh and before Azaad drifts off, you have a little something on your cheek.” Azaad spoke, licking a piece of Tuliza off, at the time it seemed much more friendly to him than it would someone else. Kion had no words, but he was very close to shutting down from an overheat. “Very warm, like a blanket.” The yellow feline commented, slowly drifting off. The lion just nodded, mentally screaming inside. But after the panic, he settled down himself, wrapping his tail along his “friend". The two peacefully slept, with the comfort of one another.

// HEYO AUTHOR HERE, IM FINALLY BACK, UHH I TOOK LIKE A HUGE BREAK BECAUSE I JUST COULDN'T WRITE ANYMORE 😭😭 I started working on this story again because a new buddy of mine recently took some new interest in the story and told me I should continue it, so here I am.
