Papyrus, Undyne and Alphys all stood in the kitchen as the two lovestruck 'teenagers' cuddled in the lounge room. "I don't like him." Blues brother declared. Undyne sighed, "I t-think you just d-don't like the f-fact that he's g-g-grown up..." She said with her usual stutter. Alphys growled. "He's still a kid." She stated firmly. "H-he's fourteen..." Her girlfriend muttered. "Ugh! I don't care how old he is! He's my brother, and I say he's too young!" Papyrus exclaimed angryly.
Dream shifted uncomfortably in his seat, the amount of negitivity coming from the three in the kitchen was starting to hurt him. "Are you alright...?" His boyfriend asked gently. The guardian sighed. "I don't think they like me.." He said, sniffling. Blue frowned. "I don't care what they think..." He murmured softly, caressing his lover's face. "I love you... And nothing is going to stop that." He said, bringing the other into a hug and kissing the top of his skull.
"B-but..." Dream started, staring at his lover, "They're y-your family..." He said, sniffling. "Not if they don't accept you! Anyway, I still have Ink and Cross... And you..." Blue responded softly. The taller sniffed again. "I love you!" He wailed burying his face into the others shoulder. Blue giggled as he petted his boyfriends skull. "Love you too..." He said, holding him close.
By this time, the arguing in the kitchen had gotten louder, Blue gritted his teeth as his boyfriend started whimpering at the negitivity they were emitting. "Come on..." He whispered, getting to his feet. "Why don't we go get some nice-cream." He said holding his hand out for Dream. His boyfriend giggled as he wiped away the remaining tears and reached out for the others hand. "That sounds lovely..." He answered.

Dream squealed as his boyfriend ran after him. In his hands he held two nice-creams, one belonging to him and the other belonging to Blue. When his lover was paying for the frozen treat, he had snuck of with both in his hands, when the other had realised what had happened he happily chased his boyfriend around Snowdin before tackling him. By some unknown reason, the nice-creams had miraculously survived.
The two giggled and laughed as they rolled through the snow. "Okay! Okay! I yield!" Dream squealed as his lover tickled him relentlessly. Blue smiled smugly. "The magnificent Blueberry, wins again! Meh heh heh!" He giggled happily.
The smaller stood up and helped the guardian to his feet and gently kissed his hand when they were both out of the snow. Dream blushed and giggled before handing the other his nice-cream. "One lemon flavoured rewards for my magnificent boyfriend!" He said as Blue took the treat from his hand. Blue smiled, glancing at his partners nice-cream, "What flavour did you choose?" He asked. Dreams entire face seemed to turn into the sun. "I, uh.... I c-choose... Well... Blueberry... I choose the flavour blueberry..." He muttered with a sudden interest in his shirt.
Blue stared at him as his own face was overcame with a deep cyan blue coloured blush. "O-oh!" He squeaked as his blush spread to the rest of his face. The two walked quietly to Muffets cafe, smiling like the love-struck teenagers they were. (Except for the fact that one of them is over five hundred years old-)
They sat across from each other, talking about whatever would come to mind. Many of the residents of Underswap Snowdin passed through and saw the young guard-in-training and stopped to say hi.
Most, like Muffet herself, were overjoyed to hear about his new boyfriend, whilst others didn't seem so happy. They all seemed to hate and judge Dream, finding nonexistent flaws that definately weren't helping his boyfriends self-esteem issues. If Blue didn't snap at them the owner would.
And as a way of apologizing for her customers rudeness, Muffet gave the two of them a couples milkshake and two plates of bacon and eggs. "Thank you!" Dream said, happily. "Anytime, now Sans, about your brother." Muffet said, turning to the smaller skeleton. "You want me to get him to pay his tab?" Blue asked, taking a sip from the milkshake. Muffet smiled, "Oh no, I just wanted to know if he's been nice to your little boyfriend here." She said. Blue frowned. "I don't think he likes the fact I have a boyfriend..." He muttered angryly. Muffet sighed. "Don't worry Sans. He'll come around." She said, before moving on to the next table.
Blue and Dream happily finished their food before placing a tip on the counter and leaving. "Blue...?" The positive guardian asked. "Yeah?" He said in response. "Are we going to tell your family about the AUs?" Dream asked. Blue frowned. "Not sure yet..." He muttered. Dream nodded. "It's alright sweetie..." He murmured softly as he grabbed the others hands. "We have all the time in the world!"
Blue smiled, quickly hiding his bashful face in his gloved hands.
Dream giggled at his partners cute antics. "You're adorable Berry!" He exclaimed before returning to another fit of giggles. Blue pouted. "Am not!" He countered. "Are too!" Dream said. This continued for a few moments more before the two were completely lost in their own laughter.
When the two finally settled down, Dream stared fondly at his lover. He could sense something was bothering him, and unfortunately he knew exactly what it was. "Do you think your family's done arguing...?" He asked softly. Blue sighed. "I really hope so..." He muttered before taking his boyfriends hands and walking home.

Blue frowned as he slowly opened the door, silently praying his brother wasn't drunk again. Instead he found all three of his parental figure's standing in the lounge room, he watched suspiciously as they all turned to see him as they entered the small house. "Hi...?" He muttered waving as they stared at him. "Where were you?" His brother asked. "We were at Muffets." He responded, quietly. Papyrus nodded. "Alright Sans..." He said, his eyelights following Dream as he sat down. "We talked about it, and..." He seemed to struggle with his words. "You're aloud to continue to date... Him..." He said, gesturing to his brothers partner.
Blue blinked at the tall skeleton and frowned. "I never asked for your permission." He stated, ignoring Alphys as she attempted to hide her snort of amusement. "You wanted to meet him, and you did. That was all you asked, so you don't get to decide weather or not I get to 'continue to date him!'" He yelled at his brother. Papyrus frowned. "Well if you had told me you were dating someone, then I wouldn't have to feel the need to do this in the first place!" He shouted back. "I NEVER TOLD YOU BECAUSE I KNEW YOU'D REACT LIKE THIS!" Blue all but screamed back, he paused as he gently wiped away the tears that gathered in the corners of his eyes. "You always react like this... Whenever I act differently, or do anything that makes you believe I'm gonna leave you..." Blue sighed angryly as he turned away from them. He couldn't deal with this right now.
"Blue...?" His lover's soft voice said reaching for his hand. "Are you alright...?" He asked. The smaller nodded. "I'm f-fine..." He murmured. Dream frowned. "You're not aloud to lie." He said. Blue cursed under his breath, he had almost forgotten about his lover's unique ability to sense emotions. "Dream..." He muttered, blinking away the tears of frustration. His lover frowned before turning and glaring at the three adults in the room. It was the coldest glare he could muster, although it looked more like an angry pout.
Blue smiled at his lover's poor attempt to glare and wrapped an arm around his waist. "Why don't we go cool off?" He said, gesturing to the stairs that lead to his room. Dream pouted. "Okay..." He muttered, following his partner upstairs, leaving the three other monsters to stew in their own guilt. "Sans seems r-really happy w-with him..." Undyne stuttered out anxiously. Her girlfriend nodded. "He does, doesn't he?" She said, staring at the staircase. "We really messed up didn't we?" She said. Papyrus sighed. "I just wanted to protect him..." He murmured. "I didn't mean to upset him..." He sighed, "I just... I guess I didn't want him to grow up..." Alphys nodded. "I think we should let him cool of before we try anything..." She said.
Blue sat behind his door listening to them talk and trying not to panic. "Dream... I promise I'm fine..." He said smiling at his lover. Dream smiled back, "your emotions say otherwise, Love..." He stated softly. Blue chuckled softly. "Am I really that obvious?" He asked, Dream laughed as he sat down next to him. "A little, yeah..." He said.
Blue stayed quiet for a few moments. "I love you..." He said. Dream smiled, "I love you too my sweet Berry..." He responded. Blue smiled. "Maybe we should go and try to fix this mess I made..." Dream shook his head. "You did nothing wrong..." He said, "Dream. Me and Papyrus were both at fault," He said knowing why his partner reacted the way he did. "But it doesn't mean that we love each other any less than we did before..." His lover frowned. "Right..." He murmured.
Blue stood up and reached his hand for his partner to grab. "Come on..." He said. "Let's go talk with my brother..."
