Imaginary Boyfriend

Lonely

As I walk through my school halls I see that love is all around me. There is a couple holding hands and walking, a girl leaned up against a locker flirting with a boy and almost everywhere else I see couples.

But then there's me, a lonely girl who doesn't seem to have a boy to hold my hand or walk me home or carry my books. I drown into my thoughts and hear the bell ring. I'm late to class!

I run in and realize the only seat left is by my crush Jonas! I throw my books down on the table and sit down.

"Claire you're tardy again!" Mr. Brown exclaimed. "One more and you'll be seeing me after school!"

"Sorry sir, I-I was th... I mean...Trying to open my locker!" I almost said thinking! Boy would that get me laughed at!

Oh my goodness Jonas is right next to me! He's so cute! I love his perfect brown hair and brown eyes, the way he smiles, and how strong he is! It's too bad he's dating that perfect girl Katherine! Please notice me! I wish he would! I know...

"Claire? Claire? Hello? I asked you a question" the voice next to me said.

"Huh?" I looked up seeing it was Jonas talking to me! "Um I don't know that science answer, sorry!" I didn't want to talk to Jonas anymore, his girlfriend was glaring at me.

At the end of the day Katherine walked up to me.

"You're not trying to steal my boyfriend are you? Because if you are you're too ugly you'll never stand a chance anyway! And if you DO steal him from me I'll make sure he breaks up with you first thing! You wouldn't want what would you?" She snaps.

"No, I guess not" I mumble.

"Then stay away from my boyfriend Jonas okay?" Then I knew that I would be alone and that Jonas would never stand a chance to ask me out.
