Voices

The next morning I wake up and realize I've overslept and there's only ten minutes until the bus comes! I quickly slip on a band tshirt and jeans, brush my teeth and run downstairs.

"Good morining Claire!' my six and eight year old brothers yell. "Finally you're up!" one says. "She's gonna miss the bus!" One thing that I hate is having to be the oldest of the family and having two annoying brothers and two sisters. I have a big family compared to most people I know. My parents are brave to deal with five kids!

I finish breakfast hug all my family members goodbye and run to the bus stop. You made it! I think seeing the bus pull up.

"You sure did! Good work Claire!" Um...what was that? This was not my thoughts, it was a voice, a guy one to. I look around seeing nothing. "I'm right here." I hear the voice say agian as I walk inside the bus.

"Who are you?" I ask out loud. "I am your boy Claire, your very own dream boy to talk to. You can name me if you want." "Sweet!" I say out loud and then realize Holly is right in front of me.

"Um.. who are you talking to?" she asks. "If you were talking to me, you should already know me." Holly giggles.

"Sorry, I was talking to a boy..." Oops! I cover my mouth. Now Holly will think I'm crazy! "Good save Claire, I'm still here you know." There goes the sweet velvet voice in my head again! How is this possible?

"Oh well thats okay." Holly sighs. "You must have a boyfriend huh?"

"No, actually I'm single! Wait, you're single too?" I ask excitedly and she tells me she is. "You bet she is!" The guy voice in my head says."you both are single Pringles".

"Shut up!" I say aloud walking into the school and head to my locker. "Holly, I'll see you in band class!" I walk away seeing Katherine and Jonas flirting. This makes me jealous! "Don't be jelly Claire, I'll be here". Ugh! This voice is driving me nuts! And it did for the rest of the day.

When it got to science class I was given answers with this voice in my head! The good thing is Jonas said I was smart! Riding the bus home was terrible too because Katherine made fun of me for talking back to this voice! I really don't understand who the guy talking to me is or why it's there.
