Chapter 20

Abigail

Everything was going well we had been at the mansion for 2 months now, the celebratory ball was tonight so scott would become mafia leader ' the king' as he puts it, but Iv been trying to talk to scott to tell him I'm thinking of going home now the dust has settled but he seems too busy, always in his office having meetings. I still couldn't believe he'd asked me to be his girlfriend and now we were together Mr handsome.

The boys loved it here they even attended the school scott built, there was so many children here, the staff lived onsite with their own families it was lovely to see Riley and liam play so happily with the other children, but I was missing my family, yeah I spoke to my family everyday and my mum kept asking when I was coming back to the U.K. but I didn't know.

" right everyone, meetings started, wyatt is everything in place, extra security?"

" yes boss, your father has recruited more men to mand the CCTV around the house and in the ball room, lewis is still locked up, Samuel escaped as wr know he cannot be found sir that's our only worry we don't know how he got out the house with all the security"

I clinched my jaw

" I do. He looks like me! He can blend in as me that's what's alarming. we've had our best men and woman on this job! How has he not been found?
I banged my fist on the table, I'm getting annoyed with this fucker!

" sir we are trying" Megan replied

" well Megan your my best woman and sniper how is it so hard to find a man who looks like me!"

" boss please, we will find him"

" I will personally make sure he is found, boss"  Parker the new lad shouts

Ah Parker the new lad. I don't allow newbies to meetings like this.

"Who are you? What part of no newbies to the meeting do you not understand?" I ask

" we have trained the newbies to the highest standard boss, this is Parker he seems to be the only one who is fully interested, the others don't show as much enthusiasm but are equally as good, we have given Parker a leader role for this reason. He is a good worker so I asked him to come along " wyatt says

I just stared at wyatt he knows my rules, all checks best of been done.

" if he fails then it's on you wyatt. meeting over, make sure the plans in motion for tonight, get Jenny and the other nanny's to watch the children in the school hall, all eyes on Abigail tonight she is your main priority you protect my queen with every god Damn ounce of you. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!"

"Yes boss" they say in unison.

I notion my head for them to leave
" dismissed"

I walk up and down my office where was this fucker, dylan had spilled the beans on lewis and Samuels plan, so my father spared him after a few broken ribs. I had been torturing lewis in the basement for the past 2 months that fucker won't be getting out anytime soon anyway.

I hear a little knock on the door and I instantly soften my queen.

" you don't need to knock Abigail, you know that"

She looks to the ground

" I want to go back home for a while to see my family" she says in a soft tone

" absolutely fucking not, I'm sorry Abigail but I can't let you go back, not yet it's safer for you here. End of discussion" I snapped back

I sounded harsher then I meant to, but what id learned about Abigail from these last few months is, she doesn't take no for an answer she doesn't let anything go she's defiant as anything like a little toddler so firmness is needed.

" I am sorry queen"

She looked to the floor and back at me with puppy dog eyes.

" plea-"
" I said NO!" I shouted louder

She ran out of my office, "Abigail please listen to me!"

" go away!" She shouted

FUCK!!!

I dialled wyatt

" wyatt please can you go find Abigail, she's run off again like a toddler"

I hung up. This woman was unbelievable.
Last month she went shopping with Louise, wyatts daughter she's one of the teachers at the school they are the same age and are pretty much best friends now. They went without telling me or any of the security Abigail nearly gets kidnapped Louise did and ended up in the hospital with a broken arm and a bullet wound  from a rival Mafia gang, luckily Louise recovered, pair of absolute idiots. I'd gone mad and Abigail sulked like a toddler didn't speak to me for days, she drives me insane but keeps me on my toes and god how I love her if I didn't she'd of been shipped back to England months ago.
