"Good Morning." I say as I walk into the kitchen where my eyes fall on Justin, My mom, and my dad sitting at the table

"I see your baseball season apparel has come in the mail." My mom says as she motions to my shirt

"Indeed it did." I say as I sit down beside Justin

"Listen, we're cool." I say to Justin

"We are? So I'm your brother again?" He asks

"I shouldn't have said that. You never stopped being my brother, J. I was just pissed off and sad. You'll always be my brother." I say before pecking his cheek

"This is weird." Clay says from the doorway of the kitchen

"You should have some pancakes. They're fucking amazing." Justin says

"I'll get you and Rylee both a plate." My dad says as he gets up from his seat

"Clay, your dad's going to take you to court today." Mom says

"Great." Clay says as he walks over to the table

"I wish I could be there as well." Mom says as Clay grabs the pancakes off of Justin's plate

"Really no problem. I've got this. And you've got alt-Clay here, so..." Clay says trailing off before exiting the kitchen

"Ignore him." I whisper to Justin before my dad sets a plate of pancakes down in front of me and I hear Monty honks his horn

"Oh, shit. Gotta run." I say as I grab two pancakes from the plate and hurry out of the kitchen

I grab my backpack from beside the door before hurrying out of the house and over to Monty's Jeep

I open the passenger door before tossing my backpack in the backseat with Monty's

"Wait, what's your shirt say?" Monty asks before I stand up straight so he can read it

"My boyfriend is the one with the nice booty." He reads aloud

"Fuck yeah." He says as I climb into the jeep before he kisses my lips

"Pancake?" I offer before he takes one from me

"Oh, I got you some things." He says before he reaches in his jacket pocket and pulls out two little white boxes before he hands them to me

I pull the top off of the first one revealing a necklace with his baseball number on it

"Awee." I say with a big smile before putting it on

I pull the top off of the other box revealing a necklace with his name on it

"I figured I'd give you my first name until I can give you my last." Monty says before I peck his lip
