The Oneshot is based on the twitch stream of Connor Hughes but I may have changed some facts.
Sorry, if I make a few mistakes. English isn't my first language and it's a kind of experiment for me because I never wrote a story like this before.

It was a nice Thursday noon and the sun was shining bright. Lando had some free days because the preparations for the next race in France were only starting in a week which he was using to catch up with his friends and family. So now he enjoyed his free time by playing some golf with his friends Max, Connor and Ras. After about an hour, Connor started to stream on twitch while they were playing. He just filmed their activities and answered some questions from the chat from time to time.
Connor was streaming for almost two hours when he started to read out some comments from the chat again.
"Lando, do you want a Latin girlfriend?", Connor suddenly read one of them out loud.
"Spanish?", Lando asked.
"Latin", Connor corrected.
Lando was thinking for a moment, his thoughts drifting to his boyfriend. "Only Spanish", he answered then.
Everbody was silent - just for a moment but for Lando it felt like an eternity. He felt his heart beating against his chest. 'Was that too obvious?', Lando thought. I mean, why would he only prefer a Spanish and not a Latin one? The guys weren't able to know that he was actually thinking of one specific person. And they also couldn't know that this person wasn't a girl. The guys neither knew about his homosexuality nor him even being in a relationship. Only their close family and team members, as well as some really close friends knew about his relationship with the Spanish Ferrari driver and former teammate from McLaren Carlos Sainz. He never really talked about relationship things with the guys so he never felt the right opportunity to tell them.
This silence made him really nervous but he tried not to show it being relieved when Connor started to speak up again reading more comments from the chat.
After a minute, Lando wasn't even listening to the others anymore because he already was in a daydream thinking about his boyfriend. A small smile crept on his face.
Lando was so nervous when he met the older around two and a half years ago for the first time. You know, Lando was just a rookie and Carlos was already part of the F1 grid for quite a couple of years by then. However, Carlos was so kind to him right from the beginning and he learned many things from him in the two years.
They had such a good time together at McLaren. There was always good mood and some fun. Clearly, their good chemistry didn't go unnoticed by the media and the fans and they were fastly labeled as best friends. Lando really liked that and had quickly noticed that he felt even a bit more for his teammate. First, he thought it was just the confidence Carlos was radiating that made him so nervous around him but he eventually realized that he had actual feelings for the other.
With this knowledge he felt pure hapiness when Carlos invited him to Spain in their winter break in 2019/2020. They got closer to each other and in a cozy movie night Carlos confessed his own feelings for Lando. Since then they were a couple.
Lando sighed when he realized that he isn't going to see his boyfriend until the next race in France. Right, he just saw him four days ago but Lando missed Carlos already so much and couldn't even imagine how to survive without him another whole week.
Of course he had his friends and also his family who he loved but this is just different and Lando always felt like something is missing when Carlos wasn't by his side. For Lando, Carlos is part of his friends and also of his family. He is just such a special person to him, Lando can't imagine live without.
