when the last bell rang, seoyeon immediately packed up her things and left the class.
chaeyoung , who was in the same chemistry class, tried to run after her. surprisingly, seoyeon was pretty fast.

before chaeyoung could even realise it, she had already been following the girl to the front gate. she wanted to call out to seoyeon but before she could even open her mouth, she saw the girl running towards a woman next to a blue car with her arms wide open.

seeing how happy the two girls looked while hugging, chaeyoung felt devastated. her facial features dropped almost instantly.

"that can't be her mother, right? or her...girlfriend?"

chaeyoung sighed and turned around, heading back towards school to look for nagyung, whom she had forgotten about (for a short while).

"uh....chaeng?"
