9. Painkillers

"Oppa, are you okay...? What happened? Please tell me you're okay..." Yuqi whispered holding me tight.

Upon realizing it was Yuqi my heart thumped slower, my breath went from hitch-hiking to simple deep breathing and my shaky body was starting to relax despite it not being able to grind to a halt.

Yuqi was also breathing heavily as I surely must have startled her by waking up like that. She softly led my head to her exposed collarbone, something I let her do since I felt like I needed this.

"A-are you okay, oppa? What happened?" whispered Yuqi hugging me tight glueing me onto her body.

"I-i...I had a nightmare..." I replied stuttering and panting.

"Oppa, keep it down... Shuhua is right there" she said making me look at the Taiwanese member sleeping soundly on my bed. "Let's get out of here so we can talk. Go to the living room, oppa." Yuqi suggested trying to lift me up.

I nodded and got up on my feet. I didn't feel too stable but I definitely could relocate myself. I was seriously in no mood to talk but I know that Yuqi is one of the most understanding people I have ever met. Maybe talking with her will help me relax and bring our so-called family closer.

I walked out the door of my room and slowly made my way to the living room. Through the dark hallway, I noticed that the lights in the girls' room were closed so I assume their talk is over and just walked away from them. Swiftly, I found my way towards the living room and sat on the couch. I still feel uneasy though. My body is still shaking and a throbbing migraine just came into existence.

Yuqi then came to the living room almost as she was running and holding what appeared to be our phones. She placed our phones on the living room table and said "I thought you would need it. Want me to get you anything else, oppa?"

"Could you get me a glass of water and an aspirin? I think it's in one of the kitchen drawers." I replied holding on my head.

"Alright, be right back" Yuqi said as she walked towards the kitchen.

What time even is it...? I grab my phone and I see that it's 4 am. Fuck, I ruined mine and Yuqi's sleeping schedule. Right below the clock, I could see some text notifications.

Fuck. Their talk must have lasted for so long... and Soojin didn't even sleep right after. She wants to talk too. I hate how I have to unlock my phone to see the whole message Soyeon sent me.

I quickly unlock my phone using the fingerprint scanner and quickly checked my messages out.

I'm not sure if I should even be telling you this, but I feel like I should. Everything went fine with the girls. They all were honest as everything matched up with everything you told me. Soojin wasn't too happy but despite looking extremely angry she kept her cool and was willing to talk to us about what she felt and what is going on between you two. Long story short, hearing everything from the girls' sides was really eye-opening about you and I mean that in a good way. I will tell you more tomorrow if you can. I hope you are seeing this in the morning after a good night's sleep. ❤️

Wow. It all thankfully went well. My breathing got a little calmer and my body stopped shaking for once.
