"With Tamera," He simply stated, sitting down on the chair.
"I hope you're not cracking under pressure and really start liking this girl. Remember you're only doing this to get her trust,"
Jamal chuckled. "Hell nah," He lied.
Jamal was starting to actually like Tamera but he couldn't betray his father like that. But he also couldn't fall back because then Tamera would look at him differently.
"It seems like that, which is perfect. I have to really make her think I'm a good boyfriend, so then she could fully trust me. Once that happens it'll be easier for me—"
"Us," Jayceon corrected.
"Right Us. It'll make it easier for us to get Tremaine under wraps. Tremaine loves his daughter so much he'll give her the shirt off his back if it comes down to it. We get her in, he's done with. I also have another special treat following up with the plan,"
"What is it?" Jayceon asked him.
"More like who," He smirked, making his father do the same.

"Yes?" He asked, coming down the stairs.
"I got some things from the mall and also can you come with me to a cookout? We'll be meeting some of my friends there to celebrate Juneteenth," Tamera said, as she put the shopping bags on the couch.
"Your friends? I'm your only friend," He came over to her as she sat down.
"Babe," Tamera chuckled, waving him off. "I do have other friends, Jamal. Like Alex, Raffe, Zyire, and Khalil."
