Tamera smiled coming out of her room but was pulled to the side by Alex. "Wassup with you and Khalil hoe?"
"What?" Tamera played dumb. "Ain't nothing going on between us," She waved Alex off.
"Stop lying to me, you've just been around here smiling and shit. I bet Khalil in your room right now," Alex squinted her eyes.
"And if he was? Me and Khalil are just chilling Alex. Calm down," Tamera chuckled and Alex raised a brow.
"You like him don't you?"
"Why do I gotta like him this early? We just chilling,"
"Mhmmm. You like him Tamera, I know you. Ain't shit wrong with it just be careful,"
"For what? It's literally Khalil. I'm pretty sure he isn't gonna do shit to me,"
"Exactly how you felt about Jamal,"
"Wow," Tamera chuckled, looking away from her.
"Sorry girly but it's the truth. I ain't gone hold back cause that's not what we do. We tell each other the truth and I'm not gonna sugarcoat shit."
"But you ain't gotta hit me with a low blow like that Alex. I mean warning me is fine but what you just did was hella disrespectful. And considering what I went through it should not be a power up for you so you can take jabs at me," Tamera said.
"Well I'm sorry about that, that was a low blow and under the belt. But you want me to see you fall over head hills for another nigga after you went through that traumatic shit. I don't wanna see you like that again, ever again. I didn't even recognize you when we all were at the cookout."
"Well in that case y'all shoulda tried harder to find me," Tamera looked at her with an intense stare.
"Excuse me?"
"I said well in that case y'all shoulda tried harder to find me," Tamera spoke up. "I was gone for two whole months. Was y'all taking a vacation or?"
"Not we're not gonna do that, shit I'm not gone do that. We tried our best to find you. He had you ina whole different city, Tamera. We went by his house and you weren't there so we tried our best." Alex said and Tamera sighed.
"Khalil is a nice dude Mera but don't jump ina relationship with him cause it feels right. Test the waters first, test him. It ain't shit wrong with flirting or anything but don't get in this just because he helped you. Make that decision cause you actually like him," Alex preached.
"Okay," Tamera sighed. "Uhm I'm about to go get some food. Do you want anything?" She asked but Alex shook her head no.
"Take what I said into some consideration Tamera,"
