Peter sat against the Stone Table, an arm wrapped around Y/n's shoulders, keeping her slightly smaller body against his as Lucy joined them, sitting on the other side of her brother. The Pevensie girl followed the couple's gaze, seeing they were staring at the stone picture of the Great Lion in front of them.
"You're lucky, you know." Peter states, directing it to his sister.
"What do you mean?" Lucy questions.
"To have seen him. I wish he'd just given me some sort of proof." Peter admits.
"Maybe we're the ones who need to prove ourselves to him." Y/n speaks up, softly rubbing her boyfriend's arm, Lucy doing the same.
"Pete." A voice speaks from their left, the three looking over, seeing Edmund standing there. "You'd better come quickly."
Sharing curious glances, the king and queens followed the Just King outside the How, meeting Caspian and Susan from there. All of them stood in a line as more Narnians joined them, all of them watching the Telmarine army walking in their direction from the other side of the field. Coming up to the front of his army, Miraz comes to a halt on his horse, staring at the How and Narnians ahead of him.

"Cakes and kettledrums. That's your next big plan? Sending a little girl into the darkest parts of the forest? Alone!" Trumpkin exclaims, all of them now back in the How, while he points at the Valiant Queen.
"It's our only chance." Peter argues.
"And she won't be alone." Susan reassures.
Trumpkin stops right in front of Lucy. "Haven't enough of us died already?"
"Nikabrik was my friend too. But he lost hope." Trufflehunter reminds, looking at the dwarf. "Queen Lucy hasn't. And neither have I."
"For Aslan." Reepicheep says, unsheathing his sword.
"For Aslan!" A bear repeats.
"Then I'm going with you." Trumpkin states, looking at Lucy,
"No. We need you here." Lucy denies, resting a hand on his shoulder.
"We have to hold them off until Lucy and Susan get back." Y/n tells them.
"If I may..." Caspian speaks up, everyone looking at him. "Miraz may be a tyrant and a murderer... but as king, he is subject to the traditions... and expectations of his people. There is one in particular that may buy us some time."

The High King and Queen stood in a room together, the queen helping her boyfriend put his armor on. Peter kept his blue eyes on Y/n, watching as her e/c eyes were focused on getting his armor on. He knew she was making sure it was on good so he was safe in the battle between him and Miraz.
"I think it's on good, love." Peter observes, feeling the armor hug against him.
Y/n sighs, checking him over once again. "Are you sure? I feel like it's not on properly."
"Y/n." Peter grabs ahold of her face, cheeks underneath his palms, her e/c eyes now looking into his blue ones. "Calm down. I'll be fine. I promise."
Y/n glances down at her feet, knowing he was right. "I know, I know. I'm sorry. I just... wanna make sure you'll be alright."
Peter nods firmly. "I will."
With small smiles, the king and queen rest their foreheads against one another's as Peter continues to caress her cheeks. Opening his blue eyes, Peter examines his girlfriend's face, seeing her eyes fluttered shut as she enjoys the moment. Not wasting a single second, the blonde gently presses his lips against her soft ones, slightly surprising her at first, but instantly kisses back.
