When She Loved Me

Chapter four - honey

Jessica's POV:

I got out my keys to open the door when Rose comes out of her apartment
"That was adorable" Rose said pulling Oliver out the door with her

"Did both of you just watch that-" before I could get another word in my best friends pushed me into my living and shut the door behind them

"So how was the date" Oliver said with an exited smile plastered on his face

"It was fine" I said still in shock of what the hell just happend

"Just fine" Oliver said in a sarcastic tone

"Kiss me again Nat" Rose said mocking my voice and Oliver joined in making kissing notices, sometimes it feels like I'm taking care of children

"Hold on I never said that"

"You basically did" Oliver commented

"Now tell us about the rest of the date. I want to hear everything" Rose says switching seats to be next to me and Oliver quickly sitting down to the other side of me

"Ok so, the returant was beautiful, we sat outside. The date was amazing we talked the whole time and she was just beautiful-" I stopped and smiled at the thought of Nat in that black dress again, the way her hair fell perfectly onto her shoulders or  the way my blue suit jacket was a little too big on her-

"Hmhm" Oliver cleared his throat "earth to Jessica"

"Mm yeah sorry, just zoned out"

"Yeah you did" Rose said

"So what were we talking about" I said

"Nat was beautiful" Rose said back

"Yeah she really was. I can't wait to see her again" I said truthfully

"So are you going on a second date?" Oliver asked

"I don't know, we didn't really talk about it... but I hope so"

"I surprised you didn't invite her in, you two were all over eachother in the hallway" Rose questioned

"She had an early start tomorrow, work" I say back.

After a few seconds of silence, I got up and went over to the kitchen to get myself a drink. I was shortly followed by my best friends like the children they are, I swear they both separation anxiety or something. "You two don't have to follow me everywhere you know" I spoke before taking a sip of my water

"Yes we do" Rose said, followed by Oliver saying the same

"Anyways I wanna get some snacks, I wanna movie night" Oliver said opening the fridge

"Yes!" Rose practically screamed "it's my turn to pick the movie"

"Oh god" Oliver sighed "let me guess, Pretty Woman again?"

"You must have that movie memorised by now, Ro" Ro or Roro are just two of the nicknames Oliver and I use for Rose

"Oh don't pretend that you both don't love this movie because I know you do" Roro said pointing her finger at us. Oliver and I said nothing, I can't deny I love the movie. Rose walked away to go set up the movie whist I was left with Oliver to prepare snacks. Before we watched to movie I quickly took of my suit and slipped on some pijamas before brushing the curls out and putting my hair into a ponytail and taking off my makeup.

The movie ended and I got up, I said goodnight to Roro and Oliver before heading into my room and they headed to their's, I had a spare room which they've made their own. I shut my door and fell onto my my bed ready for sleep to come over me. I started to think about todays events, mostly about Nat, I haven't felt this way about anyone in a long time and it feels great. I go to set my alarm on my phone when I see a text from Nat

Nat
I had a really great time today can't wait to see you beautiful face again ❤
                              
I smile to myself after reading that and so I message back

Jess
  I had a great time too ❤

 
                                                       
I realised Nat supposed to get up early so I thought I would remind her to get some sleep          

                                              Jess
   I thought you had an early start tomorrow, shouldn't you be sleeping?

Nat
Probably but I miss you ❤
I have a busy day at work tomorrow and I won't be able to text you honey :(

Honey, one of six pet names Nat has used in the past week, she's used; baby, baby girl, doll, beautiful, princess and honey. Aside from the pet names Nat has also been making alot of really bad dad jokes, she never fails to put a smile on my face.

I go to do what I was supposed to do when I remembered the bakery is having some renovations so the three of us have been given the day off. I wonder what Oliver and Rose have planned for tomorrow. I put all thoughts aside as I put my phone down and let myself fall asleep.
