Chapter 8

Authors Pov-

It's been four days with Lilly ignoring her mom. Lauren can't blame her, she knows she hurt Lilly, but she doesn't know what to do. Or how she can fix this.

Everyday was the same, Lilly would wake up 10 minutes earlier and get herself ready while Lauren was still sleeping, she slept more now because she'd cry herself to sleep. But Lilly would wake up 10 minutes earlier, get ready, do her missing homework and catch the bus as it passed.

Lilly didn't even tell her friends about what she found out Sunday night and Lilly loves talking, but now she doesn't even know what to think. She doesn't hang out with her friends during lunch, she doesn't participate, she's just sad that her mommy didn't tell her sooner.

Tomorrow is Lillys birthday, she knows she's not getting a party and now she doesn't even want one, instead she just wants to stay in doors with bun bun.

For Lauren, things aren't going great for her. She turned in the dialogue before Tuesday but it was the worse thing she's ever written, she has been so focus on trying to make things write with Lilly but nothing is working.

She regrets saying what she said, she didn't want Lilly to find out like this. This wasn't how Lauren had things planned and everything is falling apart.

Normanis Pov-

I'm a teacher at Emily's school but i teach the older kids, we're not driving back home and Emily has brought up something that catches my attention.

"Hey momma.." Emily begins to say.

"Yes, Em?" I questioned.

"Lilly has been acting weird."

"How weird?"

"She doesn't hang out with us at lunch or at recess anymore. I haven't seen her eat, or smile in days... i don't think she's happy momma."

Normani has heard what happened with Lilly and Lauren's relationship from Ally but she didn't think it's gone this far and they haven't made up yet.

"Hey baby... you know your story about your other mommy right?"

"Yeah.. she didn't want me.."

"It's not that she didn't want you baby, she just wasn't ready for a kid. But one day, she will be.. i want you to know that she loves you.." Normani dosent want her and her daughters relationship to end up like Lauren's and Lillys, no offense, she just wants Emily to know the truth.

"She hasn't even met me Momma."

"I know but i've been talking to her and she wants to meet you... she's seen pictures from you and she says you look just like me.."

"Is she really ready Momma??!!"

"I think she is, honey."

"What about Lilly? Is she going to meet her other mommy?"

"I hope she does, just give her some space."

Camila's Pov-

It's been a few days from not hearing back from Lauren and im kinda curious why. I've been at the studio for days and i've only thought about her and Lilly.

I think i should text them. Make sure there okay.

I started to follow Lauren on instagram, hoping she will follow me back but i didn't get anything immediately.

CamilaCabello: Hey Lo, how are you? I haven't heard from you in a while, just checking in. I wanted to see if you would like to grab dinner with me? And maybe Lilly can come too?
