A Kitten {Tododeku}

Midoriya's POV first

I have been going to UA for about 6 months and I've been living in the dorms for about 3 of those months. and because there are so many people living here the school wanted to save money and put us with roommates. I got todoroki which was fine I didn't have a problem with that he was great but I might've caught feelings. I know that probably won't ever happen his dad is endevor and he doesn't really do emotions so my chances with him are slim but there might be a chance. So maybe one day that tall handsome boy will be mine. But who knows. It's only our first year and it's only half of the first semester. It was spring break right now (march 25-april 5) most people are going home but since my mom was away this year because she finally saved enough money to go on a first class trip to America California I think she went. I stayed at the dorms because she doesn't want me at the house alone and she has no fresh food at the moment. Todoroki almost never leaves. He stays here for Christmas even when he doesn't have to. It's kind of concerning the fact that he doesn't go home unless it's just his siblings natsuo and fuyumi. Either way I was going to try and make his spring break the best one he had ever had.

"hey todoroki, do you maybe want to hang out for the next week and few days?" I asked rather nervously "Sure why not. Let's start now" He said in his regular monotone voice then he grabbed my hand and brought me to this tree in the forest and he started climb a tree and I followed him because why not. We made it half way to the tree and there was this tree house like thing with books and little lights and bean bag chairs. In conclusion it was very cute and I didn't ever think that todoroki would ever do something like this never in a million years. This is something that ochako and tsu would do because they get bored in the dorm a lot. "do you like it?" he asked "Yea I do it's really cute" I said with a small smile "If you like it enough you can come up here whenever you want but only you nobody else please." "Thanks for the offer and it'll be our little secret" I smiled again and started to look around. This place was bigger than I thought. There was a whole bedroom but a bed and a TV somehow. 

''Midoriya come here I want to show you something'' I quickly made my way back to todoroki who now had a fluffy black cat in his arms. "OHMYGOGisthatyours" I said quickly "No it's yours" he handed me the kitten. "Are you sure, I don't have the money for a kitten I know you might but I don't. I love it I really do but I can't pay for a cat right now I'm sorry" I said trying to give him back the little fluff in my hands "I never said you had to pay for it. I'll pay for it. It already has it's vaccinations and I bought food already, the water in the dorm is free." he replied "Why did you even get me a kitten I mean don't get me wrong I love it but why would you do that?" I asked still not being able to understand why todoroki would buy me a cat and it's food and get it vaccinated. "It's because I thought it would be a nice gift from me to you. And I knew that you probably wouldn't be able to pay for it so me being rich makes it easy for me to just pay for the kitten for you." He said with a light dusted pink on his cheeks. Barely noticeable but midorya liked to look for little details in people that most wouldn't see. 

~third person POV~

Midoriya loved how special todorok made him feel even if they weren't dating. It was the small gesture like him knowing that midoriya couldn't pay for the cat but he got it anyway to make him happy. Like showing midoriya his hideout that he made for himself but decided to share with him. Like always being able to make mido smile whenever he was around. It made mido happy the little things he did. It also made todoroki happy that he could see mido smile whenever he did something small for him. It made him feel like he was worth something even if he wasn't the number 1 hero like his dad wants him to be. When he does things for mido and it makes him smile or laugh or makes his face light up like a child when they walk into a candy store. It always made him feel like he was worth something. It made him feel like not everything is about being the best. It's about living in the moment and being happy. And that's all the two of them needed. They didn't need to be dating or even friends. But they where friends and that was ok with them for now, because as long as they could bring joy to one another they didn't need anything else.
