String {Kirideku and ShinBaku}

Third person POV

Both Deku and Kirishima have been attending U.A high for 2 years now. Before winter break or during everybody get a piece of string. This string is tied to a finger or wrist, that string acts like a magnet. Meaning the closer you are to the person you are supposed to be with the stronger your going to want to be around them. The farther the closer the strings will bring you together. Being 2 weeks away from Christmas break it was nerve wracking for everybody. Especially the two cinnamon buns. This is because they are both already in relationships with the recurring fear that they won't get the people who they are dating. Granted every so often about 40% of the time your soulmate is a platonic one. But then again it's only a 40% chance. Nobody really knows how to works but it's been around for a long while. On top of all of this stress in Japan it is frowned upon to be gay or blt sandwich of any sort. Alas it wasn't something that they could control.

Kiri's POV

I watched the clock tick with every passing minute. I wish that the days would just go by faster so I could finally rid myself of this waiting. Knowing what Mr Aizawa said about most of us being in relationships we should prepare for the worst I've been extra nervous because what if our soulmate isn't platonic and we have to leave our current partner(s). The thing is I don't want to leave bakugou, and I don't think that anybody else does either. I was brought out of my thoughts with Mr Aizawa calling my name "Yes?" I asked "Can you answer my question? Or do you think that just barely passing is good enough to not listen in my class?" He responded "Sorry" I said now rather embarrassed. I sighed actually paying attention to whatever this is ignoring the nagging thought that my life might implode on itself in a matter of days. I watched as the clock continued to tick and tick and tick in a never ending void of ticking. I watched and waited for class to be over nearing the end of class not really being able to pay attention anyway. "Shi-Kirishima" I heard bakugou call "Yea?" I asked "We were dismissed" He said grabbing my stuff walking away without waiting for me. Honestly sometimes I wonder how I fell for somebody like him. It's not like he's horrible, he's super nice to me but sometimes just sometimes I wish that he'd be nice to me all the time around everybody not just the squad. Oh well. I made sure that I shut the classroom door behind me before I went to catch up to him. "So, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?" I asked and he just shrugged "Well Sero asked if I wanted to play Mario kart with him and we might end up smoking if I'm being honest here it's been pretty stressful and I think that the others would love for you to come." I said "Yea sure why not" He responded "REALLY!" I exclaimed happily "Yea that's what I just said" He said and I smiled

After about an hour and a half before we actually went over to seros dorm. Surprisingly Mina was already there. "Oh look whose early~" I teased her "Oh don't even start with me Eijirou" She said rolling her eyes while plopping herself in his hammock. "Where did you even get that?" I asked "OH my mom got it for me from when she was a kid abuela gave it to her" He explained "That's really cool bro, we totally need to meet all this family you keep talking about one day" I said "We really do I need to know why you can't cook" Kat's said "Hey I can cook!" Sero rebottled "Mm I don't think that smoking weed is cooking but ok you keep telling yourself that and see where it gets you" He said rolling his eyes. "Don't be mean bakubro we're all here to have fun" Kami said walking in with shinsou and deku behind him. "OH hey guys" I smiled "Hello" Shinsou said dryly "HI Kirishima!" Deku said walking in behind him "You already know it bro" Kami said falling into minas lap. "Alright so I take it we aren't playing video games" Sero said going into his night stand "Yeah probably not" I responded "Alright looks like this is gonna be a smoking sesh" He said lighting a spliff. Tonight is definitely going to be interesting

+_Bakugous POV_+

I watched as the spliff was passed around the circle. The only thing is that I hope I don't slip up, I got my string early and I know that it's not Ei. How bad I wanted it to be him but it wasn't there was no good reason for it either, I just don't want to hurt him if his soulmate is me, also he's literally dating deku. I know that I don't like him very strongly but I'm not that big of an asshole anymore also why the fuck would I want to date a carbon copy of my teacher. Spoiler alert it's shinsou. I sighed running my hands through Ei's hair which I could actually do now that he doesn't have 15 gallons of hair gel on his head top. The only good thing about this is the fact that maybe it's faulty because I got it too early and we have a few weeks before anything major really happens. "OK FUCKERS, I have a question. Have any of you gotten your strings yet?" Mina asked "Yup" Sero answered "TELL US" She yelled at him "I mean I don't think that much is going to change between all of us" He said shrugging "AWW You got them lucky" Deku said "I wish that I knew already" He said "I know that there's others but I know that nobody else is going to share" She said. Why oh why can't this pink child be like this all the time. I wish she wasn't ever this pushy but here we are.

"I need to talk to you" Shinsou said quietly "What could you possibly want from me right now?" I asked in an annoyed manner "I know you got your string early." He said and I panicked internally "There's no way you can prove that" I said "Oh yea?" He said smirking before he stood dead in front of me "Don't you fucking dare." I glared "Why, you scared?" He mocked me "No I'm just a better person than this" I said to him "Let's make a deal how about that, we give them these few days before we officially break up with them and see where it takes us soulmate" He said "You know what, fine" I said before going back into the room and laying down with Eijirou. "I'm really sorry my love" I whispered before getting comfortable to lay down and go to sleep. The next morning we woke up but thank god it was snowing too hard for us to even be able to go to school or we would've been late. "Kaachan can I talk to you about something?" Deku asked "Fuck no" I said walking away.

Third person POV past tense this was the same time as bakugou and shinsous conversation

After bakugou and shinsou had left the room when they thought that nobody else was awake both kirishima and midoriya snuck into seros small bathroom. "I know that you know why where in here right now" Midoriya said to him "But what about them?" Kirishima asked the greenette "What if we tell them in the morning but we say that we're going to spend the rest of these weeks until we decide to go our separate ways, obviously we'll still be friends but I think that's the best option in this situation" Midoriya explained "I do too, thanks for not making this too hard" Kirishima admitted before they walked out of the bathroom said their goodnights and went to sleep. As Kirishima was falling asleep he felt his fiery soon to be ex lover join him on the floor bed they had made saying that he was sorry. Kiri knew that him and shinsou probably had the same conversation that him and Midoriya just did. It broke his heart but all four of them knew that if they didn't do this now it would have just been harder later. And on the other side of the room where Midoriya and shinsou where together they had decided that they where going to have this conversation right then and there seeing as how neither of them tried to fake sleep. "Did you tell him?" Shinsou asked midoriya "Yea I did, but I'll really miss doing things like this but you know how it is and we'll still always be friends no matter what would've happened" He said playing with the lavenders hair. "I suppose you have a point and as much as this is nice I don't think that it would've lasted very long anyway" Shinsou admitted to the younger boy "You have a point there, it is better if we just stay friends but if we are can we still cuddle, I like the safe feeling" He asked "Of course and if you ever need something like this you know you can always come to me. We might not be dating anymore but you definitely helped me a lot and for that I owe you a great debt that I hope I can repay someday" Shinsou said, and that was the final work until the next morning.

Kirishima pulled bakugou into his room and sat him down on the bed "look kats I umm. I want to say I'm sorry. You aren't my soulmate. Deku is. I want us to wait to break up though till later I don't want to end this yet" he said "I know. Shinsou pulled me aside last night, I agree with you Ei I don't want to leave this yet either" he told his red headed lover they fell into each other's arms laying on Kirishima bed in silence enjoying the presence of each other. They'll always be in love and they'll never forget that. It's something that both groups are going to have no matter what paths they go on they will always have had this piece in their lives forever and always.

Time skip 3 weeks later

Shinsou and bakugou had started dating after lots of conversations they decided that they would try it. Then both not being very touchy people it was fine with them to have special moment with each other for things like that. They would have their moments but it was always special and it was always blissfully for them and weird if others saw it other than the squad obviously because Mina is hell nosey. As for the two cinnamon rolls they were constantly showing their love for each other. It was a refreshing start for them and everybody else to see. It definitely was going to take some time getting used too but everybody knew that in the end everything was going to work out becuase they always had each other in every up and down happy and sad they had each tower to count on and nothing was going to change that. Because not even god can effect the bond that class 1-A has for one another even mineta.
