In ancient days there lived a king Named Uther-Pendragon who ruled over Britain. In beating his enemies, he relied strongly on two men in his court. One is Merlin the Wise and the other is Sir Ulfius a knight. Merlin was a powerful wizard who can also see the future, while Sir Ulfius was a noble knight who had led many great wars.

However the story that you knew about king Arthur is different from this story. Here Merlin looks like a teenage boy. To be precise he really looks like a nineteen year old boy. But dont be confused by his appearance, he is actually 23 years old now.
While sir Ulfius is at the age of 29. He is a handsome looking man unfortunately he  is ASEXUAL. The king, Uther-Pendragon is a sickly person however
even if they have many differences the three of them were still close friends.

The kings wife, Igraine, had two daughters from another marriage. One of the daughters was Morgana le Fay a famous witch. Soon Igraine gave birth to a baby boy. Merlin and sir Ulfius came to meet the child.

Merlin closed shut his eyes as he told his friend and king that in the future bad things will happen. That he, uther - Pendragon will become sick with a fever and die. The kingdom will fall into ruins, disasters spreading  and the people will fall in confusion. That the enemies may try to harm the child so Merlin begged the king to let Sir Ulfius and him to take the baby away and hide him in a safe place until he is grown.

Uther-Pendragon had great faith in his friend, Merlin's advice and agreed. And so, he let Merlin and sir Ulfius take his son and hide him. Uther- Pendragon prayed that his son will be safe knowing that his time to will come soon.

Shortly after that, Uther-Pendragon indeed became sick and died. Sir Ulfius and Merlin grieved at the loss of their friend and brave king.

Just as Merlin predicted the kingdom has fell into a state of confusion.

Kings wanted to rule, knights and barrons have attacked and robbed countless helpless travellers or people. Endless chaos and suffering has filled the once peaceful land.

On the other hand after twenty days of travelling sir Ulfius and Merlin was on the road. They were in a carriage, sir Ulfius was the one driving while Merlin gently held the baby arthur in his arms.

His blue eyes were flashing with light as he lovingly gaze at the small child. Merlin's long silver hair was braided but it still reaches below his waist .

He chuckled as he stare at the baby who was now clutching some of his hair while giggling, Sir Ulfius heard this and his stoic face also softens at the sight of the child. He looked at his long time friend before curiously asking '' What are we going go do now?'' 

Merlin froze a second, then he turned at him smiling lightly.

'' lets bring him to a knight, and hope that his life would be great. That he will be able go grow up happily and quietly.'' He said.

Ulfius nodded and told him that he knows a good knight. Merlin agreed to it, because he knows that his friend is doing his best for the young prince.

As they were nearing the home of the knight, Merlin kissed the childs head while murmuring a spell. It would help them to know of he is in danger or not.

He rocked the baby gently as if doesn't want to part with him. His friend sir Ulfius noticed this and sighed, '' You can still see him when he grows up Merlin, so at least cheer and lighten up a bit.'' He said. The other only hummed as agreement.

Ulfius stopped the car and went inside the carriage, seeing Merlin holding the young prince he also wanted to hold him. Merlin willingly agreed, tactfully understanding the others wishes.

They whispered their goodbyes before they went out of the carriage and walked to the knights home. Ulfius knocked the door and a man in his 30's opened it. The man was surprised seeing the wizard Merlin and the knight Sir Ulfius and offered them to come in.

Merlin spoke first, '' We have a favor to ask of you… It is about this baby. I wish that you could raise him in this quiet land. His name is  Arthur and I hope that he will grow up happily and peacefully. Please help him and guide him.… and also love him as if he was your own son.''

The knight whose name is Ector,  nodded and said yes.

After talking Merlin and Ulfius looked at the baby one last time.

Merlin gave him again a kiss in the forehead.
'' I hope that when I see you again you would grow into a wise and brave man.'' Said the silver haired wizard.
Sir Ulfius also gave the baby a kiss in the forehead as he says his goodbyes.

They went into the carriage, And they travelled as the moon illuminates them shielding them from the darkness of the night.…
