GRACE POV
Mat and I were laying in bed just telling are favourite memories of Tyler and how much we both miss him, We were about to start getting ready for the day when I got a phone call from Jack's girlfriend. "Ella, hi how can I help you" I say. It was weird that Ella was calling me, she really only calls me when she's with Jack. "Grace, hi I'm really worried about Jack" she says, I can tell she had been crying. " Is he ok" I say urgently. " I can't get him out of bed, he's just been crying all day and he won't open the door" . " shit, this happens every year on this day" I say. " How can I help him, I can't get him to open the door and Cole his roommate is in class" Ella says. " Ok, Ella I need you to just relax, First your going to need to open that door. He always gets like this on Our brothers birthday" I say. "I texted Cole and he said he will be here soon, but why is he so upset" Ella says very nervously. I can hear Ella telling Jack to open the door but he's not listening. "So I'm guess Jack never told you about are older brother Tyler" I say taking a deep breath. "No, he never said anything. I just thought the picture in your parents house Were of a random cousin". Ella says confused. " So one day Tyler was bring Jack home from  hockey practice. It was late at night and Jack was about 14, so it was 10 at night and they were about 2 blocks from our house and there was this drunk driver and Tyler didn't see the car coming when he was making the turn. The car T-boned Tyler's side of the car. He died on impact but Jack left the accident with a broken foot and some deep cuts from the glass. Tyler's birthday was always hard for Jack because Jacks got to live and Tyler never got to see his twenty- second birthday, Jack feels guilty that he get to live his best life and Tyler doesn't". I finally finished." mh wow ok, Cole just got here" Ella says wit some tears in her eyes. " So when you get in there just comfort him, tell him everything is going to be fine and let him vent to you. It took Jack years to get past this, Hockey always helped him get though this day so just be there for him" I say. "Thank you so much Grace, Cole just opened the door" She says while stepping Through the door. " baby, omg" I hear her say. " Ella can I talk to Jack for a minute" I say. "Sure " ella says. " hey jack, wtf " I say. " what Grace" he says with an aggressive tone. " Jack  I know this is a hard day for you, it's a hard day for all of us. But you can't shut us out. Let Ella help you" I say with a begging tone. " I'm sorry, you know this is a hard day for me, I'm guessing you told Ella about Tyler " he says  with a  sad tone. "Why didn't  you" I ask. " because I thought that she would break up with me because she would think he was all my fault" he says. "Jack it's not your fault, have an amazing day, tell Ella your favourite story's about Tyler I think it will make you feel better"I say. " Ok I got to go but call me later" I say. " Bye Grace, call you later" he says and we hang up. Just when I hang up I hear Mathew call me from the shower " hey baby you coming " he says. " yup be right there" I say with smile. This day is hard but mat always makes thing better and I know  Tyler is look over at us and smiling.
