Dear unnie, it has already been 12 years. 12 years since you left. How are you doing there? are you eating well? I hope wherever you are, I pray that you are safe.
Please unnie, I can't wait for you long enough, I might even die first before we will even meet.
It's funny how people keep telling me to move on, oh... how I wish it was that easy. They don't know what I have experienced, so I suggest for them to shut there mouth.
But you wouldn't like that, right unnie? It's you who would always make sure that I'm okay in any possible way.
You said, you will always stay by my side. But, where are you? I have been alone for some time now, and sometimes I would think that I can never see you again.
I'm here right now, at our favorite place. It's quite lonely here. I remembered where we use to bring loads of food, just for us to force mom and dad that we will stay here the whole day.
how i miss those days. i miss your hugs, yours touch. your stories, your smile.
no, I miss you.
I'm trying to move on, but why is it so hard? If you would be here right now, you would say the same thing they're saying.
'move on'.
I will never loose hope, cause i know that someday...our paths will cross again.
Don't worry about me, okay? take care of yourself. And please, write me soon.
Keep safe, and I love you.
Love,
Oh Young Hee.
The girl sigh, folding the written later and placed it on a box. Filled with letters, letters that she wrote for her missing sister. But how can she send this to her? She doesn't even know where in the world she is.
That incident made such a huge impact on her family. Everynight, she would try to distract herself, just to forget what happened few years back.
But nothing seems to work. She tried taking early shifts, till the late night just for her to be distracted.
happy smiles from patients, really helped her forget about the past for a while. With friendships that she made, she feels comforted with their presence.
she inhaled the breeze, reminiscing happy memories before everything went to take a turn.
she can hear her mom's laughter, her dad and sister competing on something fun. it rings in her ears every now and then.
her tears, started to slide one by one. she can't help but cry everytime she goes here.
she doesn't want to leave, but she also has to do a living so she take other's shift just for her to gain more for her finances.
she wiped her tears, and stood up.
she walked towards the bus station, plugging her earphones in. Wanting to take in a good melody, while she stays quiet and calm.
she sat down near a window, only for the rain to fall.
I guess the sky, is sad too.
she thought. She liked it when everytime she's sad, the weather would be in the same place as her. the weather's tears would help her calm, and just relaxed.
the bus would suddenly stop, seeing the city lights from outside. she smiled a bit, thingking that rainy day's aren't that bad after all.
she got off the bus, with the rain still pouring above her head. she didn't care, she didn't care if the rain would hit her skin, she doesn't have an umbrella, just her thin coat over her body.
her ears, still listening to such good harmony.. while walking through the crying sky.
she walked through the quiet alley's, wanting to change from her now already wet coat.
after a few strides, she finally arrive at her apartment. Peace where flown through the air.
she went to her closet, and took a cold bath. after finishing, she decided to cook ramen, since it's the only food she can cook without burning her apartment anyway.
her stomach was growling, wanting the taste of ramen slip through her throat.
her hand picked the chopsticks, but to her suprise she suddenly sneezed.
"okay, I take it back. Rainy day's aren't really the best." she chuckled by herself and continued eating, enjoying the hot meal from a cold shower.
she check the clock,
6:00 p.m
she sigh, stood up nd cleaned the place before changing to her uniform.
chceking herself to her mirror, fixing her skirt then her hair. she took her jcket and un umbrella then went off.
she waited for the bus, and finally after a few it did. she got in and waited to arrive.
finally, Asan Medical Center Seoul. she entered the building to be greeted by other nurses.
not wanting to be rude, she bowed to them and have a faint smile.
"oooh~ guess whose early today?" her co nurse said, wiggling his brows.
"I'm always early. Lim Sun Jung." she constantly reply, with a straight face.
"aish, youre so seroius, young hee-ah." he chuckled, hoping his friend would just let it go.
lim sun jung, one of young hee's friend. they became friends ever since young hee started at the hospital.
because of sun jung's charms and friendliness, he definetely understand and know about young hee's tragic story.
while young hee was not the type to just open up with people, not if his close with her. they've been through shifts together, and young hee didn't mind to be stuck with the guy.
he liked his company, knowing he has someone like sun jung, she felt like she's not alone after all.
with him by her side, his the only person that deeply know's her likes and dislikes. and he definetely know's how young hee hates being teased at.
but young hee, being a good friend decided to just let it go. knowing it's one of sung jung's virtue of being a clown to her life.
but, she likes him just the way he is. and same goes to sun jung.
"where am i place tonight?" she asked, looking at her clipboard.
"mmm....let me check." he replied, scanning through his computer.
"aha! your favortie.....the children's ward." he said with a small grin.
"I'll get going." was young hee said before leaving the boy.
