should i? her thoughts where occupying the same question.
she stood in the corner, bitting her nails. she was nervous, but for what? I mean, she's just gonna visit the man who almost died earlier.
there's nothing wrong with it, right?
after a few moments of thingking, she asked the receptionist.
"what room is he in?" a smile form on the receptionist's lips.
..................
okay, here goes.
she breathe in a huge air, then knock.
"come in." a soft yet manly voice respond on the other side.
young hee slowly opened the door, switching the door knob.
one she entered, the man was already in a sitting position, his hands on his lap.
young hee cleared her throat before speaking,
"g-oodmorning, I'm Oh Young Hee. But you can call me Ms.Oh... u-mm..." she thought of what to say to the man infront him whose just looking at her.
never in her life did she become more nervous than now, like ever.
the man find her behavior a bit...
cute.
"u-hh....do y-ou remember m-e?" the girl calmly ask.
"uhh....am I suppose too?" he firedback tilting his head a bit confuse.
the girl awkwardly chuckle,
"ani...nevermind, a-nyways, h-ow are you f-eeling sir?" she went towards him with a tray of medicines and shots.
"Well, I feel kinda great." he smiled, making the girl, flustered?
she slowly nodded,
"uh yeah, by the way....what happened to me?" he ask looking straight at her eyes.
"w-ell....you crashed your car to the wall, making the glass to shatter. you were unconcious when I saw you-"
young hee was compeletely out of herself, she started to remember sudden flashback form her family's accident. she started shaking, her hands started to sweat.
but she was cutt off.
"wait, you saw me crash my car?!" his eyes widened.
young hee didn't realize what she spoke so she slowly nodded.
"yes sir, I w-as the one who brought y-ou to the h-ospital. I checked y-our breathing, and it was s-till there. I t-ook the chance and c-alled the a-mbulance." she explained standing up.
she bowed and was about to leave, but the man grabbed her wrist. making her look at him.
"jjamkanmman! ( hold on)" she look at him, and then to there hands, the man noticed the girls gaze and quickly let go.
"s-orry.... but I want to say, thank you." he genuinly smile at her, making the girl calmed down.
she bowed and smiled,
"No sir, thank you. For keeping up, and not giving up on your life. No need to thank me, since it was you who did all the job. You tried to be strong, and that's how you basically just lost your conciousness.."
the boy chuckled, making her raise a brow in confusion.
"what's so funny sir?"
"ani, ani..." he then bowed at the girl as she left.
aish that girl, eomma said she saved me but now she thanked me for being alive? that's cute.
the boy thought, chuckling. seeing the girl nervous and awkward when she entered but when she started talking about him keeping up, was a huge different thing.
he was shock to see a girl, so shy at first but has a lot to say in the end
I like her attitude. he thought smiling and laying down again.
young hee, calm down. why were you even nervous? you were never like this before!
she talked to herself, trying to calm down. she then went back to work.
........................
10:30 p.m
young hee check the clock and sigh, her shift almost finishing.
Since the hospital was not so busy at this time, and their checkings are done...she wanted some fresh air.
"yah, where are you going?" chaewon ask noticing her friend was about to walk away.
"fresh air." her friend nod as she left.
"why are you even friends with that weirdo? I mean look at her, she's lonely. Are you being friends with her out of pity?" the nurse said, asking chaewon.
but young hee heard it, she clenched her fist trying to control her emotions.
she shut her eyes, holding her tears.
"yah! what are you even saying?! I'm friends with her because she's kind and true. Unlike you." chaewon defended,
"whatever." the nurse said rolling her eyes at chaewon before walking away.
young hee felt relieved, knowing chaewon is true to her not just some too faced trash. she ran away from that scene and went to the hospital garden.
she sat on a bench, looking at the pond that the moonlight shine over. she couldn't hold it in anymore as she let her tears fall.
she held her chest, not wanting to have an attack again.
unnie,I need you right now.
her tears fell more uncontrollably. she couldn't help but burst out, everything she's been keeping to herself all these years. she held the chair for support, as she almost fell.
Feeling dizzy a bit, she held her head and was able to sit back down on the bench.
"Gwaenchana? (are you okay?)" young hee quickly wipe her tears away from her face, and fixed her uniform.
it must be a patient.
she stood up and look behind her where the voice came from.
she looked down, feeling embarass. getting caught by a patient breakind down is the last thing she would ever do. she shut her eyes for a moment to face the judgement from the patient.
"Miss Oh?" the voice continued, she quickly look up only to meet two pairs of eyes.
wait, his the man I helped during his car crash yesterday!
her eyes widened, not expecting him to see her at this state. weak.
"O-h... it's y-ou...why are y-ou still a-wake?" she muttered.
"are you okay? I saw you just a while a-" he dodge the question.
"yes, I'm fine. Now would you excuse me sir, but I have to get back to work." she said cutting him off. She was about to walk pass him when he spoke,
"Dohyun, Lee Dohyun." she turned to him with a confuse face.
"What?" she knitted her brows.
"Dohyun, dohyun is my name. You don't have to call me sir, that's my dad." he said chuckling a little bit. Young hee bowed to him,
"Ok dohyun, see you around." with that she left.
cute..... he muttered before returning to his room.
