after the dinner, dohyun has been trying to distance himself from young hee. but why would he do that? I mean there's no reason why he has too, right?
"morning, my place?" the girl ask with a serious expression.
young hee notcied how dohyun has been trying to avoid her, but why tho? she as well is confuse of the boy's actions. young hee tried going back, thingking on what she did wrong, but nothing.
she thinks that his just befrending her. her slowly smiling self was about to go shine again, but her ice personality will always be there.
"good morning! children ward ms.oh!" the receptionist happily said, young hee looked at her eyeing her from head to toe.
"your new? I haven't seen you here before." she said closing the patients record.
"oh- yes! I am new here." she chuckled nervously.
"ahh, then how do you know me?" she raiesd a brow making the new reptionist shaking a bit.
"well, I heard that you did a surgery succesfully....and that inspired me to be better!" she said, trying to please the girl.
"what's your name?"
"Han Eunjoo." she placed her hands for young hee to shake as she gladly accepted it.
"Oh Young Hee." the girl bowed.
"Excuse me now, I'll go to work." young hee bowed and left.
she started checking the children, trying to put on a happy face.
she's been walking through the hallways, peaking, looking for someone. spepcifically, him.
when she's given a change to visit or send medicines to his room, he would always give short replies to her question... she felt nothing but dissapointed.
after a few rounds, the chairman called her in her office.
"Sir? you called for me?" she said standing between the door.
"oh! Miss Oh, have a seat." he pointed towards the chair infront him. the girl gladly took her seat infront him.
"well, I called you here Miss Oh because I have very good news for you. I heard what you did the other day, and The board is really impress. Even more patients are coming here for operation, because they heard how amazing you did."
young hee became flustered from the compliment. her heart was beating fast, her hands quivering.
"then.... the university of Seoul medications....told us that the amazing Oh Young Hee got a scholarship to study there!!" he clapped his hands.
young hee was starstruck, she froze for a while...trying to sink the information she just got.
this was her dream, after all.
her family would have been so proud.
