Chapter 2

Still Yn POV

"Jungkook!"

I saw him out of breath as he walked inside our house. He was one of my dad's friend's son and also the next Mafia king. He came in while running and stopped infront of me.

Jk- "Where is uncle Kim?"

"He is in his office. Why?"

" I have to meet him urgently!"

"Yes, of course you can meet him but first calm down…"

He took some staedy breaths before saying

" See you" and with that he headed towards office room.

I and him were close since childhood. We were more like best friends. We finished our studies together. But after he became a Mafia, he started being cold to me and barely spoke to me. I did have a crush on him but when I tried to confess my feelings he revealed that he had a girlfriend. I still remember that day.

Flashback:
It was Jungkook's birthday and I was too excited as I was going to confess him today. I had prepared each and everything perfectly with the help of his mother.

" Mrs. Jeon!" I called her from the living room as she was cooking jk's favourite dish in the kitchen. She came to the living room wiping her hands with the napkin.

"Yn-ah how many times to tell you to call me mom!"

"I'm sorry Mrs. Jeo- I mean mom. I'm done with the decoration. What about you?"

"I'm also done sweety, just as final touch is remaining."

" That's great! We are all ready. Just waiting for the birthday boy! He would be the first birthday boy to be late on his own birthday party!" I stated walking back and forth infront of the main door.

"Hoping Infront of the door like an excited bunny won't bring jungkook sooner dear" Mrs. Jeon said as she chuckled.

"I know mom, but this guy! Can't he cancel that meeting atleast on his birthday?" I questioned as I continued gazing at the front door.

" You know him very well dear. He doesn't even let a thing interfere in his mafia world. He is too designated towards what he is doing. And moreover today was an important deal set-up with one of their most profitable clients."

" I know how much this deal means to them. I have seen dad and uncle Jeon struggling to get that client from past a month. But that doesn't mean he has to miss his own birthday!" I said it all in one breath.

Just then the bell rang and I jolted towards the door. I hurriedly opened the door to see Jungkook holding a girl by her waist and smiling widely.
" Oh hi! Mr. Late birthday boy! Nice to see you after ages." I said dramatically.

He loosened his grip around her as he tried to cling on me to apologise.

" I'm sorry Yn-nie. I had got an important meeting and moreover I wanted you to meet someone special."

" I don't need your sorry. And who is that special person who is more important for you than your birthday?"

" Will you let us in first?"

" Oh! Sorry. Come in Mr. Birthday boy"

He entered with that girl and I got a bit upset by seeing them like that. He saw his mom and ran to her and hugged her smiling widely.

" Happy birthday my son!"

" Thanks eomma. Meet her eomma she is Yoonhee . My friend."

"Hi dear."

"Hello Mrs. Jeon" the girl said as she bowed to mom.

"Mom she is a fashion designer. And her works are amazing. I admire her a lot." Kook said and he was sounding like a kid.

" You could have made it a bit early. Yn was really mad at you" she chuckled seeing a bit upset face of mine.

" Make it up to her. I I'll serve you guys food." She went to kitchen and kook came to me.

" Awww my sweet little plum. I'm sowwy I couldn't make it on time."  he said as he came near me and pinched my nose. My mood lifted up instantly after seeing him act all cute to make me forgive him.

" It's ok kookie!" I said .

"Ah- I totally forgot about the person I wanted you to meet"
He went towards that girl and brought her near to me.

"Yn-ah meet her, she is Yoonhee my girlfriend." 

"You just told mom that she is your friend?"

"Yeah as I'm not ready yet to expose our relationship. You are my best friend so I had to tell you this. I and Yoonhee have been in a relationship now for almost an year."

"What! You have been in a relationship for a whole year and didn't even bother to tell me!!!"
I was upset and raged at him as anger took over me.

"I'm sorry plum I didn't have the guts to face you at that time and moreover I got busy with my work so I couldn't think about her."

Mrs. Jeon POV
Yoonhee that's a nice name! I would love to introduce her to Mr. Jeon. She seemed pretty kind and I think I can talk to her family about my elder son Junghyun and ask them Yoonhee to be my daughter-in-law. Hmmmm it feels right though. I was in my thoughts when Yn braged in kitchen with a face clearly visible in rage. She opened the fridge and took out a water bottle from it and drank it in one go.

"Yn? What happened dear?"

"Nothing mom."

" Why did you suddenly drank up a whole bottle of water in one go!?"

"I just felt a bit thirsty, so I came to drink some water"

Yn POV
I was literally angry on kook for not telling me about Yoonhee! I felt betrayed. I had loved him more than anything and he just didn't even care about me?

**End of flashback**

That was the last day we spoke nicely to eachother. After that day he started bringing Yoonhee to his house everyday and she started getting close to Mrs. Jeon. I stepped out of my thoughts when I saw dad and jungkook coming downstairs. I wiped the tears that were about to fall from my eyes.
