When you awoke, you were on a trolley that was going down to the safe side of Wall Rose; at first you were alarmed, sitting up with a gasp, before Amaya gently held you down, and Jean kneeled down to reassure you.
"Easy," he spoke sternly, as he placed a hand on your shoulder, "we're just going down. You passed out, so we had to carry you to the wall."
"Did you take Eren? Is he all right?" you asked, struggling to sit up, your head throbbing.
"The bastard's still unconscious, and pretty well off," Jean answered, scowling when you mentioned the boy, "and don't worry about that idiot! You've got a bad injury that needs to be treated right away!"
"But—" you spluttered, trying to lean around to get a look at him, pushing against your sister's grasp.
"(Y/n)," Armin cut you off, smiling shyly, and turning in sync with Mikasa, so you could see Eren, who was still unharmed, and out cold, in their hold. "He's ok. Please be more concerned about yourself," he added, wincing at the sight of the bloodied bandage wrapped around your head, "that injury looks really serious."
"I get that I need medical attention," you spat through gritted teeth, "so will everyone quit telling me the obvious?!"
"An open mind and no self worth?" Annie remarked from behind you, "Dangerous combination, for a soldier."
You prepared to retort furiously, yet Amaya cut you off, giving Annie a warning glare; "You lay off (Y/n)," your sister hissed, seemingly two inches from killing the other soldier for that comment.
"Oi, Amaya, easy," Jean stuttered, holding her back by her jacket.
"I genuinely hoped I would wake up in a peaceful environment, like, on a bed and hopefully miss the rest of the drama," you murmured, closing your eyes. "Oh well, I can dream."
"You and your fantasies," Jean let out a hollow laugh, gritting his teeth.
"Hmm," you hummed in agreement, leaning against Amaya, who gladly took your weight. There was a sudden shudder, as the cart hit the ground; you turned your head lazily to see what was going on; then stiffened, your body filled with fear-induced adrenaline once more.
Too many soldiers to count were standing around the area you had landed at, their guns all pointed at you, as well as several cannons. A curse escaped your mouth, before the captain at the front of the squad screamed at you all; "Cadets! Get out of the way! Eren Jaeger, stay put!'
You knew exactly what was about to occur.
"No, no, no, no!" you shouted, struggling to get up, yet Amaya held you back, pulling harshly at your jacket, hooking her arms around you.
"You heard him, we have to go!" she growled, pulling you off the trolley, following Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie as they exited.
"Come on, (Y/n)! Do you want to get shot?!" Jean exclaimed, also aiding Amaya with pulling you away.
"No, you don't get it!" you yelled, fighting against their grasps, "He already left once, I can't lose him again!" you reached out feebly, unable to stand on your own two feet out of exhaustion, "Armin! Please let me help!" you cried out, tears filling your eyes again.
"(Y-Y/n)..." Armin stuttered, watching you helplessly get dragged across the ground, whilst he sat next to Eren.
"Mikasa! God, anyone!" you writhed around, desperate to get free, but it was no use; they were becoming more distant; Eren was becoming more distant.
For fuck's sake, you were not about to lose him all over again!
Precisely at that moment, Eren opened his eyes, and looked around, and the first thing that attracted his attention was you, thanks to your notable kicking and screaming.
