Naruto pov

I was looking at the sand but nothing was happening when suddenly I felt something start to crawl on the side of my pants "ahh" I yelled and ended up falling on my butt "I'm sorry to scare you my name is Katsuyu and (Y/n) asked me to tell you that she is now fighting one of the criminals, but that the others might be escaping from the back" I held Katsuyu and placed her on my shoulder and sent a signal to the other and started to run to where (Y/n) was. When I got there I saw (Y/n) doing something I've never seen her do."One finger is all I would need from now on to take care of you" she said that made me get deja vu to the day when I first encountered Grandma Tsunade.

"haha don't make me laugh" from the corner of my eye I saw the rest escaping from the back just how Katsuyu mentioned "hey Shikamaru!" but like always he was one step ahead of me "Rodger so don't be a drag and help (Y/n)" as he said that I was on my way to (Y/n), but before I could even help she had flicked him on the head sending him to the ground unconscious "One finger flick," she said picked him up and gave him to Kankuro. Like reading her mind he took him and left. She walked back to me "did you get my message?" she asked but I was still amazed at how much power she had inherited from Grandma Tsunade "Naruto" she mumbled finally helping me snap back to reality "Oh yes I did I sent Shikamaru and Temari to go get them" she nodded "okay good, but let's go and help" I smiled at her and went off.

"SHIKAMARU!" I suddenly hear the piercing scream of (Y/n) fill my ears as soon as we got there and realized that Shikamaru almost got squashed by a boulder falling. "Sorry I truly thought he was going to get hit" she apologized when it wasn't necessary, but I guess that's the way she is. It had felt like a couple of hours but we had finally completed the mission and all of us made it out safely without any problems.

"Hokage Naruto Uzumaki, (Y/n) Senju, and Shikamaru Nara report back with all the criminals back in their cells and not one of us with major injuries" as I reported back I felt a bit weird sounding so serious, but Grandma Tsunade won't get off my back about apparently my lack of being respectful to people 'Heigher' in status than me. "Well done fellow leaf Shinobi and thank you for your help you may head back to your village", "yes thank you sir" As we headed out we said our goodbyes to Temari and Kankuro and thanked them for our help "Hope you come to visit soon" (Y/n) said ever so softly "will do but before telling Shikamaru to finally put on his big boy pants so I can stop saving him," Temari said making Shikamaru a bit pissed off but making (Y/n) laugh "will do".
