Chapter 2: Jaden and new drummer

It's been a few weeks since I last saw the boy from the gym again. Jaden was his name. But today some people are coming over.

Mgk: Ness come down here please. I want you to meet some people

I nod throwing on my cut up jeans shorts and black top. I walk down the stairs.

N: I'm com- Jaden?

I seen Jaden standing next to a man by the drums
J:Nessa? My dad looks between us

Mgk: you know him

I nod smiling
J: yeah we met at the gym a few weeks ago
Jaden explains smiling.

My dad nods.

Mgk: oh well sweetheart this is Travis and you already know him so...

I giggle. Shaking the guys hand.

N: sorry your meet didn't go as planned father.

I say in sarcastic tone.

J: Father?

I laugh loudly because how Confused he looks. I'm mainly used to it by now. Every time my dad has people over and they bring their children by, they always have the same reaction.

N: Sadly.

I frown nodding before biting my lip trying not to laugh. No one knows I'm his daughter. I mean I sure hope not. But eventually I have to come out publicly. It's just hard bc people would want to be friends just to hang out with machine gun kelly and Megan Fox.

Mgk: Hey! I'm not that bad of a dad.

I roll my eyes mumbling a yeah sure. I look at Jaden and see he's already staring. I look down feeling my face get hot.

Mgk: anyways Travis here is my new drummer and Jaden and I are working on some stuff together.

I nod.

Mgk: well that's all

I nod again and head up to my room.

J: hey wait up!

I stop and Jaden runs beside me. I shrug and he walks with me. We enter my room and just chill.

N: you probably think I'm weird?

I speak up after a few minutes of silence. I look towards Jaden

J: no. Why do you think that?

I shrug looking down.

N: I don't know, I just thought that since you now know I'm mgks daughter you'd think I'm weird.

He shakes his head.

J: well I don't. Just bc your his daughter doesn't mean anything. Your still the pretty girl I once bumped into at the gym.

I blush. We continue to talk before we crawl in my bed watching Netflix. I play the vampire diaries since it's one of my favorite shows.

N: I swear damon's hot

were currently watching the scene of him and Vicky dancing in the house, since stefan took his daylight ring and seeing his shirt completely open.

N: fuck he's so fine.

I point as he's dirty dancing on the railing. Jaden scoffs

J: please I'm hotter than him

I giggle.

N: yeah sure

J: oh so what you don't think I'm hot?

I eye him before shaking my head. After a couple of episodes Jaden turns off the TV.

N: heyyy!
I pout.

J: oh quit pouting. I wanna get to know you.

I roll my eyes.

N: fine let's play ten questions.

He nods.

N: you first.

J: favorite color?

N: Black. What's your dream career?

He thinks for a moment.

J: Oh! Easy, I want to be a musician and help people who have dealt or deal with depression.

That's cool.

We continue playing and I've learned a lot about him. He and I have so many things in common. Like favorite color. Dream job. I even learned his name.

N: last one Hossler.

I nudge him.

J: who inspires you the most?

That's a hard one. But I know.

N: I'd have to say my parents inspire me the most. Since they've taught me a lot in the past. Those two are my role models.

He nods. We continue talking and laughing. He's such a cool person. He's fun to be around.
