"Can you go over there and hand me some cinnamon Tremani?" Wanda asked.
A/N :( Meech's mom name is Wanda if I never mentioned it.)
Wanda invited me over their house to hang out today and since I had nothing to do I came and so did Meech. When I showed up she hugged me and told me she missed me and when she saw Meech behind me she closed the door in his face.
I was laughing until she asked me what was I laughing at then I shut up. She a very terrifying woman but cool at the same time.
I met his sister Layla she was very nice to me and asked if I wanted to watch netflix with her but Wanda called me downstairs to help her cook.
I haven't met his father yet but i'm nervous as hell but i'm distracting myself with this cooking. Meech hasn't come down here to say anything to us the whole time i've been down here.
Handing Wanda the cinnamon I went back to frying the chicken. She was making Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Yams, Collard Greens, Sweet Potato Pie, Potato Salad, Seafood Salad, Macaroni Tuna Salad, Fried and Baked Chicken, and Fried and Baked Fish.
Funny thing is when I got here everything was almost done besides the fried chicken, fried fish and the yams. I gotta make sure to make Bubby a plate. He had homework to do so he asked to go over Sydney house.
Me and Wanda were singing Half Crazy by Musiq Soulchild when I heard heavy footsteps coming down the steps. Meech came around the corner and came towards me.
"Pass me a piece of chicken." He whispered to me trying to be discreet.
"Demetrie you know you can't whisper now get your ass out my kitchen before this whisk come flying at you." Wanda said turning around from what she was doing.
"But Ma i'm hungry." Meech whined.
"We're almost finished,can you wait a couple more minutes cry baby?" I said.
"Fine." He huffed and gave me a kiss before leaving the kitchen stomping hard when going up the steps.
"Imma get his ass when he come back down here." She said before starting to get everything together.
I laughed silently and finished putting the last piece of chicken on the paper towel.
"You know how he gets when he's hungry Ms.Wanda." I said.
A couple of days ago I made some food for everybody and he would not leave me alone at all. He kept asking me when it was gonna be ready and kept trying to sneak some food.
"Hell yeah I know he ran my pockets when he was younger to the point where they were crying out for help." She said laughing.
I laughed along with her.
"Tre can you go tell them that dinners ready?" She asked.
"Okay."
Walking away from the table I went upstairs and could hear Love by Keyshia Cole playing and assumed it was Layla. Going to her room first to tell her dinner was ready my assumption was false because she was watching Arrested Development on Netflix.
Going to Meech's room I tried being as quiet as possible when opening his door. Seeing him singing his heart out to the song I pulled out my phone and recorded it until I felt it was time to actually tell him about dinner.
Knocking on the door I heard the music cut off and him opening the door for me.
"Come on Keyshia dinners ready." I said laughing running away from him before he could do anything.
