Tremani Pov
I walked over to the couch with Prince on my hip sitting down and pressing play on Lucifer. Demetrie followed behind me taking a seat on the other couch.
He pulled out his phone texting somebody not paying attention to me.
Why would he pay attention to you, you didn't even text him after he gave you his number.
Anyways. I looked down noticing that Prince was getting a little sleepy and had drool coming out of his mouth so i got up and headed to his room to put him to sleep.
It didn't take long for me to put him to sleep and i just stayed up there watching him sleep. I wasn't being creepy or none of that i just don't wanna face Demetrie and plus i left my phone down stairs.
Demetrie knocked on the door and said ," Aye somebody callin your phone!"
"You can come in and give it to me." I said waiting for him to open the door still staring at Prince.
"Hea" He said handing it to me and the without another word walked out.
Mom⚠️
Incoming call......
"What do you need this time." I said rolling my eyes looking down at my nails.
"How do you know i need something?"
"The last time you called me you asked for 200 for Bubby knowing damn well that it wasn't for him."
"Why are you in my business? Your faggot ass probably don't even got the money. That's why i put your ass ou-
I hung up the phone trying to steady my breathing and to control my tears.
Every time she calls me she asks for money making up an excuse. Sometimes i give it to her because that's my mom i'll always love her but when i don't she'll call me slurs and starts being negative. Sometimes the words she say hurt other times it doesn't because i'm so used to it but today it was going really good then she just had to make my mood so sour. I don't know how she had that effect over me but she does.
Bubby is the only reason i send her money sometimes when she asks for it. I know with the little heart she has she'll feed him. Before i got kicked out we weren't the most financially stable house hold. We were making ends meet. With me working at Zumiez and my mom being a house keeper we could barely keep the water on. When bubby got old enough he started to do anything around the neighborhood for money as in taking out somebody's trash or watching their kid. We didn't make bubby do that he did it himself after he caught my mom crying over so bills she couldn't pay. He worked real hard to try and help my mom and i with bills. When he tried to give her money for the bills she would never take it. He would give it to me so he could contribute to bills. I had no choice but to take some of his money because i was short sometimes.i never took all of it because i knew i shouldn't do that to a innocent kid.
The day i got put out my mom found me in the bed with a boy. This was the day i lost everything. My virginity, my relationship and my home.My mom never knew i was gay and i never told her because i knew she was homophobic. I told him to leave but i guess he didn't i was too tired to even check so when she started yelling and throwing my things i was extra confused.
Before i left i made sure to give Bubby a little trackphone to keep in contact with me since i could barely keep up with my phone bill. I also gave him some of the money i had left from my previous check i was gonna use on the rent to make sure he got himself something to eat on certain days.
I stayed with sydney when my mom put me out. I've known sydney for about 5 years and i honestly couldn't ask for a better friend. I asked her for a place to stay she picked me up with no hesistation and made me feel comfortable in her house.
After a while of working at Zumiez, DTLR, and working as a nanny in the white suburban homes i got my own little apartment. I went to community college to get my business degree so i could own a clothing store. Before that's done i want to go to court against my mom to get custody against Bubby. It might sound dumb but i don't know what that lady is doing to my little brother he hasn't gotten any real guidance who knows what he's being taught these days.
