"If only we knew who we'll spend the rest of our lives with, then we choose to soften up"

"Look, have you guys finished packing? Where's Amin? Hussaina ? You guys should please hurry up or else we'll be late" Ummi called out to her kids. They surely want them to miss the flight.
"Ummi you worry too much for no reason. The flight is in two hours time dai dan Allah" Adda Hamida spoke in opposition to Ummi's worry.
"Please keep quiet, I know what I'm saying. Before we arrive at the airport, it's another journey"
Imam, Aminullah and Hussaina came down with their trolleys. "Sorry Ummi for coming out late" Imam, the eldest son spoke "Actually... " he stopped midway as he glared at his brother Aminullah. He clears his throat and turned to Ummi who was waiting for him to complete what he was saying "Actually, Amin's door was jammed so I had to break the door"
Adda Hamida stared at Imam and back to Aminullah and knew something wasn't right instantly. But she shrugged it off anyway. It's between the brothers.
"I hope you guys have locked the doors" Ummi asked.
"Yes Ummi, I have" Hussaina said with a smile on her face.
"Okay then, please let's go"
They were about to board the plane when Ummi just remembered. She turned around to ask Imam "Imam? Did you speak to him?"
Imam who was fastening his seat belt answered Ummi with a "Hmm" he nodded "I did. He said he'll meet us in Kano"
"Okay"
* * * * *
"Ya Imam, he said he's waiting for us outside, please let's go"
They bade Adda Hamida goodbye as she said her husband was going to pick her up.
Outside was one scorching heat. The sun was radiating. Hussaina and Aminullah were never fans of the sun. They always said it would tan their fair skin because they are "Larabawa" as they call themselves.
Both of them wore their dark shades and pulled their trolleys and stopped in front of a black Mercedes Benz car. The ladies went in and the guys loaded the trolleys in the car boot and went in.
"Ina wuni hajiya Good afternoon ma'am" the cab driver dressed in green kaftan greeted in his thick Hausa accent.
"Lafiya alhamdulillah" Ummi answered as the car started making its way out of the airport. Imam the eldest sat in the VIP seat while Ummi, Aminullah and Hussaina sat at the back.
Aminullah stared at his phone while smiling sheepishly like a newly wedded bride. I'm coming baby.
Hussaina already knew what her brother was up to. She smiled and raised her head up and closed her eyes "Ummi?"
"Hmm?" Ummi answered distracted.
"It seems like you're soon going to get another daughter-in-law" she said in a poker face while trying to hide her laughter.
Aminullah was shocked and all he wanted to do was to beat the hell out of this girl. "Ke! Bakida kunya koh? What do you mean by she's going to get another daughter-in-law? Hmm? Look, don't cross your limit" he emphasised using his index finger.
Ummi laughed while Hussaina pouted feeling hurt. She hates it when Aminullah scolds her.
"I didn't lie. And anyways, it's not as if she doesn't know about it. She knows every single thing" she narrowed her eyes at him.
