Chapter 3: Moved Out

I woke up to here the pitter-patter of rain drops on the roof and i knew it was going to be a gloomy day, unless i can get Cam or Karla to come over. If not I'll probably look for apartments on my laptop because well, i want to move out. I can't live with my grandparents forever! Well they have a no boys allowed rule so....Cam can't come over when they are home, also no pets not even a fish. So many rules, i hate it. Like I'm 19 why can't i do whatever the hell i want?

I picked up my phone and called Cam first, who answered on the third ring,
"Hello?" He asked
"Hey Cam" i replied
"Alexia, whats up" he asked
"Bored as hell, its raining!" I said
"Ya, i can see that" he laughed
"Anyway, you busy?" I asked
"Uh...actually ya. My mom is making me help with cleaning the house" he said
"Aren't you moving out soon?" I asked
"Ya, i have to start packing too" he said
"Ok, I'll call Karla then" i said
"Sorry" he replied
"Don't be" i replied and hung up. I don't exactly know if i should of hung up then but you know, i gotta call Karla.

She picked up on the 5th ring,
"Hey" she said and i heard her gum snap
"Hey, wanna hang?" I asked
"Sure!" She said "what time?"
"Like around 12. So in like 30 minutes" i suggested
"Works for me" she said
"Good because i really didn't want to look for apartments online without you" i said
"What about Cam, don't you want his opinion?" She asked and i could here the jealousness in her tone
"No. Your my best friend, I've known you longer and you know what i like more so.....ya" i said
"Ok" she said slowly "I'll be there soon" she hung up.

I set my phone on the table beside me and went over to my dresser choosing a purple tank top and some short jean shorts. I went to the washroom and did my hair, makeup and all the other shit a girl does in the washroom and by the time i was done it was 12:00 exactly, knowing Karla she will be one minute late, shes weird like that. I remember one time we were going to a party and she made us wait in the car till it turned 10:01. She is so weird.

The 0 soon turned to a 1 and the doorbell rang, told ya. I ran down stairs and opened the door, Karla smiled at me and i moved out of the way and she stepped in.
"Hey" she said
"Hey" i replied
"Guess what?" She asked excitedly
"What?" I asked
"I went out with Tim last night!" She practically screamed
"Oh, my ears. But that's great" i said
"He was so sweet" she said
"Ya he's a pretty nice guy but if he hurts you won't have him back because he'll be dead" i laughed
She laughed "ok"

We sat down at the computer and searched up apartments for sale, and soon found a nice apartment for a nice price. I had been saving since i turned 18 so i just had enough for this apartment. It wasn't small or old, in fact it was in one of the newest apartments.
"Are you sure?" She asked
"Ya, its pretty nice, a pretty nice price and look at the view from the balcony" i pointed out
"I guess, but its so close to the market, that will be pretty loud" she said
"Are you trying to make me not move because we're neighbours?" I asked
"Maybe" she smiled
"Well I'm not living here forever" i said
"Well no, but get a house instead" she whined
"Karla! I only saved up for an apartment. And you know that" i said
"Ya but...I'll help. Please?" She asked
"No, its only 15 minutes by driving, it'll be longer for walking" i said
"Aw, fine" she said
"Do i buy it online?" I asked
"If you want you can set up a visiting date" she said
"I don't think i need to, these pictures are pretty much all i need" i said
"Then call the owners" she said handing me my phone. I dialled the number and waited,
And waited,
"Hello, you've reached the Moore family's home phone, please leave your name and number after the beep" the voice recorder said
Beeeeeeeep
"Hey this is Alexia Thomas, i was looking for a nice apartment and wanted to buy this house for an offer of $6,576.98 its all i have, get back to me at 519-333-2222 thanks bye" i said and hung up the phone

//////////moving day//////////////

I hugged my grandparents and they said these exact words.
"Be safe and no wild parties or boys"
"Guys, its my house now, i make up the rules" i said
"See i told you she was moving out just to have parties and cover her body in tattoos and stuff like that" my grandma said
"Oh grandma, i don't like tattoos so don't worry about that. But a nose piercing would be nice" i said teasing her
"Oh let her be, shes 19 old enough to be out on her own and be responsible for herself" my grandpa says
"Ok fine, i guess but seriously Alexia, be carful" my grandma said hugging me.
"Ok bye" i said giving my grandpa a hug.
I walked out to my car and shut the door behind me. I drove after the moving truck with a big smile on my face, I'm finally free!

"Wow! I can't believe that that was the last box!" I said to Cam
"Ya we worked pretty hard" he said running his hand through his hair.
"Yup, this place is so nice" i said
"It's pretty good" he said
"What do you mean?" I asked hearing the 'not so sureness' in his voice.
"You lived so close to me and Karla" he said
"Ya but I'm on my own now, you guys should be happy for me and now we can even hang out more now that my grandparents can't tell me what to do" i said crossing my arms and giving him one of my best 'your not being helpful' glares
"Listen, you don't even have a job, how are you going to manage this house?" He asked
"My grandparents are helping me out till i get a job" i said
"Ok, how you going to get a good paying job until you finish collage or university?" He questioned
"Why are you arguing with me?" I asked
"Because i think you should have a job before you moved out!" He said his voice raising
"Oh my god! You are just the same as the rest of the guys, so self obsessed. Do you even think about how i feel? How much of a change this is for me? The least u could do is at least be happy!" I yelled
"Ouch. Well your just like all the girls I've met so put up and perky, maybe i don't like that!" He snapped back
"Then leave!" I yelled pointing at the door, tears threatening to fall.
His face softened "alexia i did-" i cut him off
"Go" i said pointing at the door. I didn't dare look at him, he can't see me cry. I didn't turn around until i heard the door close behind him. I sunk to the ground and cried, the night away.

Wow ok, so the first fight. I am just going to update any day now but if its each Wednesday is the deadline. No later, but I'm not making any promises, if i don't update its because I'm sick, have no wifi, or personal issues. I try to update a lot, btw half this chapter was deleted, 2 times😫😫.
